I think that I've read on the PS forum that a small amount of bleeding does happen.  You might want to ask the gals over there for more info.   If you start to run a temperature or the area "reddens",  get an appointment.  I plan to take my temp.  occasionally after surgery... just in case.  I'd also give the surgeon's staff a call in the morning. 
I hope that it heals quickly.
