What's going on? Are you still losing or having to increase your intake to stay at this weight? Dry up and blow away! Wicked Witch! ! (Thanks for adding an emoticon... HeHeHe) No, really... Is it that your getting comments, but look OK or that you're not happy with your loss?
I'm eating between 1800-2000+ calories per day just to keep from dropping more Lbs. Now I'm hearing that some RnY patients take longer for their bodies to realize that the weight is gone and it's time to stabilize. My body needs to get a clue before I need suspenders!
I'm pretty much eating all the damned time now... only good foods, tho. Little sugar, little fat, mostly healthy. And lots of protein. I think that I might be drinking a little soon after meals tho. That might be keeping me from getting all the nutrition that I can. So for the next few months, I'm going to be slammin the protein shakes to see if it helps any.
My son from Florida visited and didn't want to say anything to my face, but when he got home, he called his sister (my daughter) in Arkansas and told her that he was concerned about how much I was losing. I was already starting to get a bit concerned because after having been at 155 for several months, I all of a sudden dropped to 145. And looking closely and comparing pictures, I do seem a little more "boney". I'll post a picture soon and you can tell me what you think, ok?
I guess you're having the same issues that I am but I honestly think that I'm eating a little more than 2000 cal a day... maybe as much as 2600.
So, anyway, we'll just keep talking and maybe we'll figure this out. I've got an 18 month appt coming up and I intend to grill my Dr. to find out what he thinks. I'm also curious about what my bloodwork is going to show...

Thanks for the update. I am very interested in what your Doc has to say, as I've also had rapid weight loss issues. My bloodwork showed low Vit A, C, D, and Pantothenic Acid (B5) so my supplements were increased again. I eat "clean & healthy" as you described, but I was recommended to keep my proteins at 75-80g / day so that I won't over-tax my liver function. I'm boney... and not happy about it. I'll be glad to check out your pic. Keep me posted! Thanks again, Esteban!
