Hello Ladies! I'm back in the saddle after taking a long time to get my **** together... Hope everyone is good (please update me in your response). If you didn't know I was gone, please don't break my heart and tell me so... If you didn't know I was gone and want to boost my morale, tell me how much I was missed!!! THE Steve

Steve! Great to see you again. Was wondering where you were. Okay, I have to go chase down our four kittens, they've just escaped the house, per my husband. BBL

Coincidentally, cat herding is my chosen way to describe my job.

Hi Steve!!!! Yes, you have been missed! Glad you are back in the saddle...maybe you can corral the rest of us now. You can see the mb has been pretty quiet this summer compared to last summer...maybe we are all just out keeping busy and living our lives. Personally, I'm eating too much! Only a few weeks of summer left before the kids are back in school and I'm hoping that will signal a return to the internet for me, I miss spending regular time here but it is always one thing or another keeping me away. So what is new with you these days? Hope you are doing great! Hugs Molly

I think we're in that "getting back to living like a normal human being" stage of life again. I know that I am... It's been a while since I ran into anyone that knew me "before" that hasn't seen me lately. So I'm starting to fade into the background of everyday life. It's actually kind of comforting not to be paid attention to now... Does anyone agree?

Well, it feels like that when I am out shopping but all the people who 'knew me when' are still watching me like a hawk and that is a bit uncomfortable. But it's good too because it helps me keep on track when I'm around other people. I was pretty much of a hermit once I got really heavy so not too many people beyond work knew how really heavy I got.

Maybe you can try turning the tables on them - watch them like a hawk, too! Turn it into a game - whoever stops doing it first loses... Or, you can call them on it and tell them that they can stop worrying about you; that you're OK now. But if you want them to keep on doing it because it helps keep you on track, you can play a fantasy game where you're the celebrity and they're watching you because they admire you and want to BE you! I guess it was good that you kept to yourself - I was RIGHT OUT THERE when I was HUGE. So now I get lots of second and third takes - you can imagine how humorous it can be to see someone do a third-take... and then I get to say, "YEAH, IT'S ME!", to which they imediately respond, "OH MY GOD". And then I get to tell them all about it. Sometimes it gets a little old when I have to do it several times in a row. But I always end up realizing how lucky I am that I even GET TO TELL THE STORY!!! Just keep on keeping on and eventually everyone in the world will have forgotten the big old you and only know and love the new, luscious you that we all know and love... Hope someone lets you know that you are truly special today and that it makes you smile, if even just on the inside... Steve

Hi Steve...glad to see you back. I've been MIA myself, TRYING to get MY stuff together. I've lurked here and there and DID notice your absence. Hope you got at least most of your poop in a group.

Well, I've scraped the poop all up into a manageable number of small piles and have formed the piles into blocks. They dried quite nicely in the Virginia sun. And since I've been focusing on fiber, they have a certain amount of tensile strength. Now I'm thinking about getting some gold spray paint and painting them all to look like gold bars - then I'll sell them on EBAY... Think I'll get rich doing it? OK, who thinks Steve's mind is a dangerous place to stomp around?
