Back from Vacation!

HELLO! I *MISSED* YOU ALL!!!! Hope you had a good week! Husband and I had a *BLAST* on our vacation. We went to Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin for 5 days and wow.. is all I can say. Here are some of the things we did.. *Go Karts *Minor League Baseball Game *Laid on the Beach (no coverup ya all!) *Swimming DAILY in the hotel *Hot tubbing *Arcade games *Cheese Factory Tour *Paper Factor Tour (lol.. wisconsin produces the most paper world wide!) *Music Festival *Houdini Museum (included a part with 60's and 70's era) *LOTS of latte tastings *Lots of eating *lots of shopping/walking We just were able to really connect on this trip, something we needed to do! I sorta caved on my diet about 3 days into it.. just so much good stuff to eat there! Wow.. now I realize living in a town of 2000 people with limited access to these sorts of places is a GOOD thing.. so glad of it now!!! I dumped too many times trying too many sweets I am probably up 5 lbs.. but I lost 5 before the trip. So I am ok with it. I have to weigh at the doc's at the end of this month so I have to be good between now and then! So I will be staying active on here.. please help me stay accountable by being accountable with me! We are a great team/family and I think it helps a lot! Oh.. we also talked about starting to get pregnant at the end of this year So I am excited about that. I have an obgyn appt the middle of august and will talk to her more about it then. That's about it for me.. gotta get ready for work again but will see you all on here come Monday... be active on here with me! Let's keep each other motivated! Hugs Melissa

Melissa...I'm glad you had a great time. (I didn't realize you'd been gone, since I've been scarce myself) Also glad you and hubby had a chance to connect. It's so important. I'm also glad to hear of your baby making news!! They really are wonderful, hard work, but oh so worth it. You'd never think something could change your life so much! Welcome back...I missed seeing you online Sounds like a GREAT time..we are leaving August 2 for Gulf Shores for a week and I can not wait..the orginal plan was to take my dad but it will just be my family and my sister and her daughter. We ALL need it and I am looking forward to it. WOOHOO on thinking about a "BABY". There is NOTHING better then a baby and I know you will be a wonderful MOM!! I will be back here on Tuesday in need of some (ok a lot) motivation. Hugs Diana
