Hi Gang!
Hope you had a successful week. It is pouring cats a dogs today. Good day for me to tuck away in the flower shop for a few hours! Loving my part time job! Really uses that other side of the brain that nursing doesn't!
Question of the week: What are your vacation plans this summer or do you have any?
Answer: We are going to Appleton, WI for a week in mid July which isn't far from Green Bay. Neither of us have ever been there and have no set schedule once we are there.. just going to explore. I can't wait. I may even go to theme/amusement park to ride all the rides I once could not fit into. Fun eh?
Have a good week! I appreciate all the support everyone, I am doing much better these days with my accountability and I look forward to tomorrow night with our chat. There is a chance I may have to get dinner later with the inlaws though and I may have to miss But if I can't be there please be sure to try and come anyways ok? I will let you know if I am going to be absent. It is hard for me to tell husband no to his family if they want to see us. It isn't right for me to do so.

New PCP's goal weight: would like to see me back at 135 where I was before by my next follow up appointment, July 31st.
I got started on a new medication and its really helping me focus, concentrate and not feel so anxious, I am greatful. And, I am sleeping better! I feel blessed that my new PCP has had weight loss surgery herself.. she understands what I am going through and knows the right meds to prescribe.
hello, I am going to weigh in but really do not want to. Summer is always the killer but today i am off to dr for 18 month appt. Know he will not be happy with me. I still have not reached the 100 mark have about 15 to reach that mark and have about 50 more to go to reach my personal goal and I will get back at it!!!! Vacation question I went to denver for a week and we are doing day trips but school starts back up on July 14 we are year round school so summer is short but a relaxing time!!!!! Well her goes Kelly

Hi Ya'll!
I have been extra busy with my life lately. We have become part of a new church and have made some new friends. I am not used to having so many people in my life... it's like going back in time when I lived at home with my two brothers and my sister. I like and need the socialization - but lately I find all I want to do is hole away in my bedroom and watch tv.
It seems like sometimes my life is constantly out of balance... sorry, will save my rambling for another posting
Vacation plans: We will be driving up from Deep South TX to Montauk National Park in Missouri for my mom's family reunion. It's a beautiful place, we've been going for years - very green and good fishing. I am looking forward to seeing all my cousins and aunts/uncles. One of my cousins had RnY a couple of years before me - we plan on trading notes and pics.
I am not doing well with exercise and food right now. I have been maintaining my weight at 160 up until this last week when I began to creep up to 171!!!!!
I am trying to get a hold of what is going on. My thought is lack of exercise and too much sugar and carbs. I'll put up a post so you all can 'weigh in' with your input if you want...

Sounds like you are staying busy Kerdeeya! Please let me know where in Missouri this is at? I am from Missouri, KC area. Sounds like lots of fun and very beautiful and peaceful.. ahhh for serenity! Enjoy your time with all your family!!
As for you not doing well.. we all have been there. I was up almost 15 lbs but nipping in the butt. Make sure you get the help you need whether that be with your surgeon, medication, therapy etc.. (I do it all!) and use the resources available to get yourself back on track. See if you cant log with us once in a while to help stay accountable. I know you can do it, get that scale going in the right direction! We are at a point where our malabsorption is not going to be what it once was and that sudden bounce back weight can occur, almost over night.. it did for my husband at 18 months out. But you don't want it to go further than that. Exercise and eating clean will keep it at least controllable. I wish you luck, its a journey that never ends! *hugs*
Montauk is near Lebanon, in the Southwest part of the state. I love going because it's not as green down here and the water in the river is cold and clear. Looking forward to horseback riding and hopefully a canoe trip.
I have started moving more again. I had been a routine of walking every day and then I got sort of busy and quit. I also get kind of 'down' and will start hibernating in my room when things get stressful. This usually makes my body sore (no more cushion for laying around all day) and I get bad back spasms. You think I would learn, but I haven't. Today I am hurting so bad - I try not to take ibuprofen, but if I will probably need to today. I'm going to see if I can find a good masseuse. If not, then I'll go to my chiropractor and see if he can get me straightened out.
I will definitely try to log in more. I also need to update my website. Thanks as always to ya'll's wonderful support!!!

i'm still under dr's original goal, which was 144 (as in normal bmi) but would like to get to the ultimate goal of 115 or at least back to the 117-125 range.
don't have any formal vacations plans yet but have been going to the beach (NJ shore) with every weekend for the last month. needless to say, the whole beach experience, including wearing a tiny bikini is infinitely more ejoyable now that i no longer resemble a beached whale

I am glad you are maintaining under your doc's goal. Hang in there.. my doctor wants me back to my lowest weight by july 31st, 135 clothed on the scale, so around 132 or lower naked I imagine. I am working hard to get there.. you can get to where you wanna go too! Be sure and try to be accountable with us on the daily posts when you can, I find it helps me a lot to log my intake.
The beach sounds lovely... oh you and that cute itsy bitsy teenie weenie bikini.. i am so jealous but oh so HAPPY for you!!! Enjoy that!!!!!! Woohoooooo!
Oh wow!!! You sure are up early.
I had a great week and especially a great weekend since it was our 17th wedding anniversary. Hubby and I went dacing with my much younger nephews and some friends. We all had a great time. Everyone commented on my great looks...
We are leaving friday morning to St. Agustine, Florida for a mini vacation, my oldest brother is here from Colombia and we are taking him there since he has never been to St. Agustine. I am also getting ready to leave to Colombia at the end of this month for some R&R and for my breast surgery which is set for July 29.
I am so surpised to be able to maintain my weight somewhere between 175 and 177, I just love it eventhough sometime I think I eat too much but it looks that whatever I am doing is working.
