Awesome Job Natalie! Thanks for starting this thread!!! I am very excited for you getting back on track! It takes time to develop good eating habits once again to nip the weight gain in the butt once we get off the wagon but our tool is always there to help us through it, like a friend that will never let us down. Thank goodness for that! Keep up the great work. I think coming here has helped me tremendously. Life has been strange around here with all the weather issues but the flooding has now moved south and now the town where I had my surgery has had to partially evacuate, how sad.. but I have to say my stress level is way down now. I also started an "eating contract". I have typed out what I will eat each day for the entire week. Basically the SAME foods except dinner I can switch up my meat and veggie options. I don't mind the lack of variety and making less choices is working for me. I love it. I signed and dated the contract and put it on my fridge as a reminder that I cannot eat off that contract. For some reason, its silly but its working for me so far.. knock on wood. Also, each week I will develop a new plan so I don't get too bored. I am going to do this till I am back down in my weight. So anyways, keep up the good work and keep coming around.. I wanna talk to the group about doing a december "chat" as well. I didn't even realize this option was there until I saw a friend of mine mention it. That would be fun to talk in real time.. Thoughts?
