Hi Mel, I got in all of my necessities; not so much the walking, but I did walk... LOL This week I lowered my calories to the 1500 calorie range; down from about 1750... and since Wednesday I already lost some of the weight gain. My 24 Hour Urine Test results should be in next week; Monday I am going for the CT with contrast of my abdomin. I should know next week what's going on. Well, I finally figured out that the tests are to "rule-out" cancer, which had me up the wall when I first realized it. My neighbor seems to think that it might be my Thyroid. At this point, I just want to know... period. If the tests come back negative, WooHoo... 'til then I'm waiting it all out. I might check with my Internist, as my colonoscopy time might be nearing... there's were the family history of cancer has been a concern. I'd rather "know" if there's a problem so that I can get treatment started, if needed. Just the right thing to do! Actually, I feel fine so I think that that says a lot in itself! Ro B: 1/2 banana, 1 T Skippy, 1/2 oz Special K, NF yogurt L: 1/2 apple, salad, tomatoes, W-B spray, 2 Laughing Cow Light Garlic & Herb cheese, 1 oz Wheat Thins, .... later whole wheat toast with 2 T Skippy D: 1 Laughing Cow Light, about 1 oz Wheat Thins, 1 oz Special K, NF yogurt S: 1 Laughing Cow Light, about 1 oz Wheat Thins, NSA hot cocoa, 7 1.2 oz asian veggies, 2 pretzel sticks, LS oatmeal calories: 1674 carbs: 227 fats: 56 sat. fat: 9 protein: 71

Yeah, me too!!! My PCP mentioned that the Nutritionist seems to be trying to rule-out hidden cancer with the CT. My jaw dropped! Then I went home and checked the descriptions listed on the script for the 24 urine collection test. I thought that they were probably looking at hormone levels... for thyroid problems or possible protein problems that would effect my kidneys. All the listed tests were for various cancers. DH said that the Nutritionist is just looking at the "worst scenerio" first. That I feel good does mean a lot to me. Thanks for the prays... I will know very soon and let you know. I'm dealing with it as "ruling-out" only to keep my spirits up. It's so easy to panic about Labs and tests... Better to be positive and work with the Nutritionist once he knows more info. Have a good weekend... Ro
