Hugs! I have missed you all and especially miss this kind of wonderful accountability. Thank you for getting this going, Melissa. I'm going to be out of town tomorrow but will still write everything down on paper and log when I get back sometime Sunday. Here's today: Food: --lf, lactose-milk sf latte grazing: 3 pieces of whole-bean splenda chocolate (bad, but I'm owning it) morning meal: 1 whole-wheat pumpkin oat muffin, 1 lf mozz stick late-morning meal: another muffin around lunchtime: another homemade latte (I've been living on real caffiene lately) lunch: 1 oh yeah prot. bar snack: 1 oz. soy crisps, another muffin dinner: 2 servings chicken w/ranch (not measured but I'd say it was nearly 6 oz. chicken) calories: 1176, carbs: 75, fat: 43, prot: 95, fiber: 28 Exercise and moves: 5 hours at work up and down the ladder for three hours of it...woohoo! Speed shopping after and hopefully a little gardening in the rain later. Water: 9 cups so far, another 4 or 5 by bedtime vitamins: have taken all except the last dose of chewable multivit, bp, tummy meds, magnesium. Thats all four things. Having real trouble with carbs lately for stress and pms eating. Dealing with a fair amount of negative as well as positive stress and need to handle it better. How did your Friday go? Molly

Hi, Molly... It's been a bit lonely here lately. Glad that you re-surfaced; sure that Diana will be here soon, and of course... Mel! I find the posts helpful too. My Eats are now "out of control" in a controlled manner... not really a good thing, but I am gaining some weight. Still hoping that I am not un-doing all of the good habits that I worked so hard to establish. Being as Positive as possible about it is a mixed-bag at best. I crashed today and spent the day in bed... a lot of ups & downs here too! Stress Sucks! Smooch... So sorry to hear you crashed bad today, that is no fun. Glad to hear that you have been able to stop the weight loss but I really feel for you and how unnerving it must be to eat more when you don't think you should. But wow, how do you stick to 1 ounce of mashed potatoes???? There is no way I could stop at that...that'd just be the amount I lick off the spoon. When I 'need' mashed potatoes I eat my caulitators. And I mean E A T. About 1 1/2 cups of it at a time if it is a real stress thing. Or half a cup if it is just being healthy to go with a meat like chicken or turkey. (The way I make them is 2 heads of cauliflower florets steamed and cooled then puree'd in the food processor with 8 oz. ff cream cheese and a LOT of Butter Buds or Molly McButter and white pepper...no extra salt needed. Reheats beautifully and even freezes well.) Hmmm...maybe I need to make a grocery store run for more cauliflower for the weekend. As for your granola: that is just a plain old gateway drug for me and I can't have it in the house anymore. It leads to me having Diana's problem of getting into dry cereal and from there I can't control the grazing. Hang in there! Molly ps...forgot my weigh-in: HW: 268 SW: 230 LW: 136 (?) CW: 138 ack!

Exactly!!! The granola and the cereal munching are a problem. The granola is frozen, but how hard of a barrier is that to "get past". As for the mashed potatoes, I fill my small plate with other healthy foods first the add the 1 oz. By the time, I am ready to eat the guys have eaten the rest of the potatoes. No real willpower needed once the food is "gone". Thanks for the caulitators recipe! Ro

Hey Molls! Thanks for starting this today!! I was on the GO all day today. My cals came in a couple hundred higher than normal but protein and carbs are where they should be.. so its amounting in the fat content which honestly I don't fret too much over (I should probably more). I went shopping in decorah iowa today with a dear friend and they had tons of little boutiques and just really neat things you don't get to see everyday at a typical "mall". Had a blast. Food- Breakfast: CC pancancakes with the last of my SF polomar blueberry syrup (cry.. lol I did make it last a long time tho didn't I?) Now I get to try the raspberry and strawberry kind.. yum. 1 turkey sausage. Lunch: 4 oz grilled chicken with 1 slice extra thick bacon and slice of swiss cheese and side salad of lettuce and 1 grape tomato with regular ranch and french on the side (they did not have low fat.. grr) so had 1 tbs of regular ranch and .5 tbs of french.. i hate using full fat dressings, gotta go extra sparingly I feel. Snack: Large iced, SF vanilla/hazelnut soy latte from a local coffee shop (wasn't good.. waa) He messed up and made it hot and rather than redoing it he poured it over ice and it was just a diluted mess.. I didn't have the nerve to complain but wow.. I should have for 5.50! Dinner: 4 oz grilled chicken, 2 cups lettuce, .5 ounce of cheese, 3 slices of boiled egg and 2 tbsp of light ranch, 2 tbsp of light french. Snack (now.. wanting something sweet and I need more fluid.. you guessed it a shake!): Cookies and cream shake with light choc soy milk and 1 tbsp of PB2, FF whip. Cals: 1418, Fats 59, carbs 85, protein 129 Exercise: walked around the town of decorah for 4 hours lol, jumping up and down at Aaron's game (he coaches varsity softball) -- does that count? haha Water: not the best today.. maybe 40 oz of true water. Vitamins: Done! By the way, love mashed caulitaters! I put garlic and light chedder cheese and some cream cheese in mine and bake them in the oven with a light layer of fiber one crumbled on top for a "crunchy topping", yum. Have a terrific weekend!
