*Wednesday Weekly Weigh-In*
Hi Everyone! This will be short and sweet, gotta get to the flower shop then off the gym for my kick-my-rump class. Hope you are having a good week. Let's add our "weekly goal" to the stats ok?
Question of the week.. (totally off topic). Since I work in a floral shop, tell me what is your favorite flower and why?
Mine is a sterling purple rose.. very light lavendar. It just makes me smile.. no other reason, perfect color, love purple and its so soft and delicate. Second favorite are those bright Gerbera daisies! Pink and orange are my ultimate favorite colors in that variety, such happy flowers!
Here are my stats!
HW: 328
SW: 280
LW: ???
CW: 141.2 I will take it
Goal for the week: To keep being accountable of all my food intake, exercise, drink my water and take my vitamins. Come here daily to check in and share my accountability and keep going with the beck book. It takes time but my health is worth it.
I will be on later to do the beck discussion for chapter 6. It will be late though. Have a great wednesday!
*hugs*
I really like any flowers..roses are not my favorite though.
I have still not had the time to catch up on the Beck Book
I am trying!!!

I will not be around this weekend as my 10 year olds Destination Imagination team came in 1st at State and is not off to GLOBALS in Knoxville, Tenn. They are expecting 22,000 kids from ages 3rd grade to college. I have NO idea what I am going to eat as we are staying in a hotel and will be gone ALL day so it will be brought out food. I do have a box of protein bars and a case of water to take..I will not mention the Margarita stuff I have packed (read back up to the 22,000 kids and this is why I am taking it). I am looking at this as it is 3 days I "might" struggle not a WHOLE week (Beck Book). I am going to TRY to find the right foods but I know these 3 days will be hard. I will not have a computer so I will not be posting from tomorrow to Sunday evening.

I haven't done this in a few weeks...glad to see you around Melissa!
HW: 392
SW: 357
LW: ? I don't remember. I do weigh daily and mark it on the calendar to watch my trends. This makes some people crazy but I know when I stall for 2 weeks what is about to happen!
CW: 186 There was a time I never thought I would get below 200 and look at me now! It is all gravy from here!
Goal for the week: to keep up with my vitamins! Not that I have slacked...today is just one of those days...A reminder that my pouch still works! Ate some turkey bacon with and egg this AM at about 6:30. Usually have a protein frappucino but my 13 YO niece was cooking breakfast so I joined her. Been regretting it all day! That bacon did not sit well at all and have not been able to take anything in until about 4:00 and suddenly was better (with the assistance of beef broth and meat tenderizer). Goes to show...just when you think your pouch may not be what it use to be...it rears its ugly head and lets you know that it is still a part of you!
As for flowers: I love orchids. I have one on my desk now...potted and has been blooming off and on for several years now. I am not a plant grower...no grreen thumb here...but this thing blooms several times a year! Alll I do is ignore it and water it once a week.
Hugs!
Late posting but trying to get caught up to everybody and a normal life in general.
Here's stats (not proud!)
HW: 268
SW: 230
LW: 136 (?)
CW: 138 ack!
Goal for the week: to get back to the internet! I need all of you, I need my sparkpeople.com food logging and keeping my head in the weight-management issues we are all addressing. My health is worth it, too and I MUST make time for it. Spring is so busy normally what with the roses and all and now with adorable kittens to snuggle it makes it tougher.
Favorite flower....uh, ROSES. LOL I love them all and don't know if I have a number one fav but there are many I adore: Pope John Paul (great form, disease resistance, remontance, light fragrance), Double Delight (great colors, outstanding fragrance), Memorial Day (incredible fragrance, charming petal shape), Crimson Bouquet (workhorse performer, good disease resistance), Ebb Tide (PURPLE! Fragrant!). Too many more to list. Also love lilacs which are blooming right here now and smell divine.
Is the florist rose Sterling the same as Sterling Silver? It is a light lilac and very fragrant but not a good rose in zone 5 for us here...very tender and a powdery mildew magnet.

ps...great website to research roses is www.helpmefind.com
