Hi, Mel, Dec. Man & Babes!
Tried to reduce the caloric intake yesterday a bit, as I was not hungry, but later I had problems sleeping. Night eating has been OK'd until I begin to regain at a reasonable pace. Lunch at the diner was lost within minutes, even with chewing slowly. This was really tough because I was foaming like crazy in the bathroom and getting pale. Outside there were a number women that I know from town. DH was waiting patiently. I finally decided to finger-purge, which I have not done before. I got relief, but felt upset over the experience. One waitress said that she did not recognize me; another that I've lost too much weight and that she knew I wouldn't be able to eat much. I've eaten this meal before without a problem (a bit rarer meat) at a different diner. Since I've lost the additonal weight, I have gotten a lot of stares, few complements, and a lot of "you're too thin" or "facial motioning"... like your face is too thin. Hearing that I looked "awfully thin" hurt. I find that people simply wave hello and take-off; instead of even a brief conversation. I am still working on gaining weight and will be taking the urine (hormone) collection test and CT Scan to rule-out problems later this week. This last month I lost over 1" around my neck, but my other measurements haven't changed. Weird! My arm and leg skin is draping like crazy. I looked pretty good in my bathsuit with the 16.5 additional LB, but now I am self conscious about this summer. I was so looking forward to fitting in this year. So I am going to work as hard as possible with my Nutritionist to get my weight increased and stable. Needless to say, Eats for the rest of the day were soft foods to relax my pouch. Hope tomorrow is a better day. Ro
