Hi Girls!
Just thought I'd stop all the globe hopping that I'm doing and check in with you all.
Been really busy but have been keeping the December board in my peripheral vision.
I see that everyone has jumped on the Beck's book craze. I'm glad to see that you're all employing all tools available. I personally always have to be very careful that I don't get into the mindset that there's a single miracle out there just waiting for me to find it. Life is so hectic and always moving so fast, I'm always looking for that ONE THING to which I can pin all my hopes - something that I can focus on. But I'm glad to read that everyone here is using the book as it should be used - just one more tool for the tool box. Glad to know that everyone isn't losing sight of all those other tools that we've been soooo lucky to have been given.
Everyone keep up the good work and stay close to the pack and we'll all muddle our way through this life.
UPDATE: I guess I've found my set point since I've been bouncing around between 153 and 159 for the last two months. I'm nibbling all the right stuff pretty much all day long. Getting all the protein I can and staying properly hydrated. Responsibly adding to my credit card every time I stumble into my local Mens Wearhouse (they love me there - they call me by name everytime I walk in - just like Norm walking in to Cheers). Loving life and having a ball as a healthy, happy, sane human being.

I'm working at a new position at work, and hubby is switching shifts back and forth on me, so if I'm not at work, I'm driving somewhere to get him. =)
I think I've reached my set point too, it's been the same weight, more or less since my 12 month post-op. And I was told at that time, if I was happy there, they were okay with it. It's 5 lbs from goal, but I don't really care, all that much.
Okay, now I have to go get said spouse from work.

Congrats on the Set Points! It's much better to stabilize and then work on maintaining, especially if your Eats are healthy.
