Eats and Moves Post--Tuesday

Hi! I need to get back in the habit of logging and posting food. Without this, I get so off track. Looking at this day it distresses me to see it really isn't a nutritious day. Gonna work on that! --nf, sf soy latte 1) homemade tvp protein bar 2) 1/2 cup egg beaters, 1/4 cup salsa 3) oh yeah! choc. protein bar 4) 1 low carb tortilla, 1 mini turkey meatloaf muffin, 1 oz. lf string cheese 5) 1/2 cup nsa ice cream, plain cone 6) 1 pumpkin protein muffin, 1 homemade tvp protein bar calories: 1408 carbs: 149 fats: 41 protein: 114 fiber: 33 sat. fat: 16 The carbs actually freak me out less than the fats. I am unfortunately becoming very accustomed to the higher carbs and that in itself worries me. But since I am so tired all the time (dh said I was sitting at the computer last night upright and asleep chewing a piece of sausage he had me sampling and I have NO MEMORY of it at all!) I must need the extra carbs and fat. Couldn't be that I don't get more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep. Oh, for moves it was a five hour day at work today but about 1 1/2 hours was on my fanny in a meeting. Lifted a lot of really heavy things today, or at least they all felt really heavy! ha Molly

Hi! Log Away! It's a Good Thing! Didn't the RD on the Nut MB say something like the brain needs about 120 carbs per day to function... that would be healthy carbs! Seems like if the calorie level and proteins are met through nutritious foods, the carbs and fats fall in-line. We all eat so differently... yet we've still had similar losses. Ro No Moves...again... need to commit!!! Eats: B: 2 oz chickpeas, 1 oz 2% cheddar, 1 oz brown rice, spring salad w/ W-B spray, 3 pumperknickle pretzels 2nd B: 1 oz Special K Protein Plus Cereal, NF yogurt, 3 oz strawberries L: 1/2 lunch order of Moo Goo Gai Pan, 2 oz brown rice, 1 serving Lipton chicken noodle soup w/ egg (egg drop soup) D: 6.5 oz lasagna with meat sauce (392 calories) S: Fudgsicle, SF Dark Choc pudding, 1 oz 2% cheddar, 1 oz pumperknicle pretzels calories: 1495 carbs: 200 fats:49 protein: 80 sat. fat: 5

I picked ALL day. I had a HEADACHE and feed it ALL da*m day. Before my surgery I use to get a lot of headaches and I have to say I do not get them anymore buy today was a killer I sooo need to get back to writing what I am eating down. I miss everyone and hope you are doing GOOD!! Diana

Thanks Molly for doing this thread again. You do the eats/moves if you can and I will try to do the Beck discussion and weigh ins.. deal? Lol.. life gets so busy doesn't it?
