Eats and moves for Friday
So, it's a day late, but we can still be accountable, right?? Right. I'm feeling pretty good today since the scale showed a 5 lb drop since I weighed yesterday. I'm sure it's a fluke (even though I weighed myself at least 3 times so far to see if it was the same) and won't really count it until I've held it for a week. I'm not incredibly proud of my eating yesterday, but here it is anyway.
Eats for the day in no particular order
1 extra small banana
1/2 oz. walnuts
South Beach protein cereal bar
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 oz. turkey breast w/ 1 slice 2% American Cheese
7 extra large strawberries
2oz. chicken breast (lunch meat) on 1/2 whole wheat low carb wrap
1 stalk celery w/ 1 tbsp LF cream cheese
8 SF low fat fudgesicles (Terisa...I told you it was 10! I ate more after I talked to you)
2 oz. chicken breast (lunch meat)
Greek salad w/ 2 oz. grilled chick breast & 1 tbsp dressing LF
Drinks
20 oz propel water
40 oz. decaf coffee w/ 6 oz. half and half & 2 oz. light vanilla soy milk
What I've learned these past couple of days while logging everything that goes into my mouth is my coffee with CREAM! SOOOO much fat and so many calories!! I didn't realize HOW much I was consuming. So, I made a new plan. Substitute light vanilla soy milk for my cream. *Thank you Melissa and Molly for posting your eats. It gave me this idea* Reduces calories and fat, and boosts protein!
The ugly counts:
Cals= 1746
fat= 84 *I seriously wanted to throw up when I saw this number*
carbs= 185
protein= 104
Exercise= tons of errands and nursing marathons
Hi! Sorry i didn't see this on time. Been busy, busy, busy this weekend getting ready for Bloomsday. Also ground 15 pounds of venison to make summer sausage and got the mixture all ready to smoke. Laundry, cleaning, yadda-yadda-yadda....the usual mom stuff.
For a nursing mommie your numbers really don't sound that bad--even the fats. Were you given any numbers for where you should be with the nursing *and* being a bypass patient?
My eats weren't great yesterday and I'm too tired to dig them up, sorry. But still they were't very bad either. I did have three separate servings of nsa ice cream in a cone which makes it a little over half a cup each time. Not too bad. Also polished off the last of the strawberries till the next Costco run.
I hear ya on the coffee creamer. I've seriously gotten hooked on the soy lattes I make, they are delish! Wish I could have one tomorrow morning but I think I prob. shouldn't before heading downtown for the race. It isn't fun waiting in line for a porta potty with 50,000 other people. Yuck!
One more run downstairs for a last load of laundry and then a shower before bed. I'll be so glad when tomorrow is over, I am not looking forward to it.
Molly
