What did you eat and how did you move?
Hi! My eats have GOT to get back under control. Now that there isn't any pms and 'that' week is over my water weight is starting to get better but overall my weight is still too high. (was 140 this morning) Moves for me today were 8 hours at work, hard day but not as hard as some. Sunday is our Bloomsday race (10k) and I'm sooooo not ready. Here's eats:
--lf, lactaid latte (not as good as soy)
1) 3 pumpkin protein muffins
2) 1/2 cup nf cottage cheese, 2 T sf jam
3) 2 serv. egg beaters, 1/4 cup salsa
4) 2 cups strawberries
5) 2 small chicken wraps (50 cal. tortillas, chicken, ff cream cheese, tomato)
6) 2 cups strawberries
--soy latte
calories: 1150
carbs: 90
fats: 32
sat fats: 9
protein: 21
fiber: 50 (food plus supp.)
Ro...I think the Sat fats are too low since I didn't make a new food grouping for the lactaid latte and just used the numbers for the soy latte. I used low-fat Lactaid milk so it undoubtedly has sat fat in it.
How did you all do today? Tomorrow I hope to go heavy on protein and then carb load on Saturday before Bloomsday.

Hi, Shawneena! Sorry that you got sick (down the toilet)! I ate 2 oz of salmon a few days back and it got "stuck", but stayed with me. I felt horrible for the rest of the day and only got in about 1000 calories. I ate 1/2 roastbeef club (with bacon) on whole wheat w/ mayo last week and had NO problem.
NSA Fudgsicles =
XOXOXO
Ro
I've found that with salmon it has to be REALLY moist and I have to be VERY careful to chew it well. I've also noticed it fills me up quickly, so I think I'm going to eat more of it.
I didn't "actually" get sick. By down the toilet I meant I didn't do so well. Or at least I didn't think so because I felt like I was eating all day. Looking at it "on paper" though, I see it was too horrible.
NSA fudgsicles DO NOT = They are the around here.
Hey, for a nursing mommie you had a GREAT day! I want to know the secret of being able to stop at four strawberries. I literally just keep cleaning them until I fill a 2-cup measure and then eat that down and decide if I can keep myself out of more. It's waaaaay worse than chocolate for me but at least it is a healthier obsession. hahaha
One suggestion based on what you posted...have you tried making yourself some cottage cheese pancakes? If you like them, you know you can make a batch and freeze them since I know your time is limited. They even make up into waffles just fine and are great reheated that way too. Good protein, good numbers, filling and no guilt.
The secret to the strawberries is that they were SUPER HUGE ones!! LOL!! I guess the other secret to that is...I'm lazy and don't like washing them, so I'll wash as I go. So I end up like "I'd love some strawberries...oh, but that requires washing them...nah, maybe later." But you're right...it IS healthier than chocolate. Hmmm...maybe that would keep me out of the fudgesicles!! I'm just afraid of eating too many and Sydnie have some sort of reaction to it. "They" say to stay away from allergens while nursing, such as nuts, strawberries, milk, eggs. Um...HELLO...that's MOST of my diet!!
As for the pancake...I was out to breakfast and it came with it. Of course, I COULD have left it alone, but I didn't. *Actually it came with 2...lol* And GREAT idea about the cottage cheese pancakes. I lost the recipe though, so if you could pass it along, I'd be ever so grateful. It would be great for me so I didn't have to eat out. I could take them with...just roll and go. Or at home have them with my SF syrup or SF preserves!!

Hi, Molly... Good Luck at the Bloomsday Race!!!
10k = 1 Tylenol BEFORE the race with extra water for the Tailbone from Hell
TheDailyPlate does not list Lactaid's LF soy milk, but has other brands; all have no sat. fats listed! Your protein total seems too low for what you ate; a "guessestimate" of 7g protein for each oz, plus the protein muffins would have the amount higher. The 140 LB must be water weight. How much water are you drinking? I heard that if it's less than 64 oz, the body will retain water.
