Hello everyone Just checking to see who is on board with the new book club. I just got my book and am ready to begin. Who else would like to join the book club. Let us know if you are interested. The Book is Beck's Diet Solution. Molly will assign the pages and then we can post after we finish the sections assigned and chat about what we read. ( Hope that is okay with you Molly) so just reply and let us know, thanks Kelly

Sounds great! I've never been part of an actual book club...do we just begin with all of chapter one for the first day or do we do it by wee****il we hit the daily sections? Shall we discuss the first chapter tomorrow? Sorry to check in so late... Molly

Aw, I wish I could have breakfast with you all. I am already at work and having breakfast there when most of you get up, I think. Interesting stuff on that link, too.

I got my BECK book this weekend and started it. I am on Day 3 right now. I love it so far. My only concern is sometimes I feel like I need to spend more than one day on a step. I kind of have the 21-day mentality. I mean, to make something a habit it usually takes 21 days. Spending one day on a step and then moving on to the next step the next day is already feeling too fast for me. I decided last night to spend a couple days getting use to these first three steps before moving on to the next. Any body else gotten this far and felt this way? Should we start a new thread for each step of the book?

Elaine, this is so interesting and shows how different we all are. I thought that the first whole week of the book was redundant for me and it was stuff i had either already done or was just 'past'. Does that make any sense? Looking ahead to some of the other steps I can definitely see what you mean about needing more than one day for some things. How is it that a group as big as ours doesn't have anybody who knows anything about book clubs? LOL!

I think part of my problem is my life is so chaotic anyway, what with a 16, 13 and 4 year old! I feel the need to spend more time on steps because I want to make a habit and I have already found myself wanting to skip forward in the book. I am having to force myself to slow down.
