Eats & Moves for Sat., 4/26

Hi, Everyone! Hope that your eat & moves have you ! DH & I did our usual walk through the park, but this time I brought along my 3 LB weights to strengthen my upper body. It felt good to get both cardio and strength done at once. Really lazy gal here! Thanks for posting your moves; it helped me realize that I was an exercise "drop-out". LOL Best to All! Ro B: whole wheat waffle w/ SF pancake syrup, 2/3 oz Special K Protein Plus cereal, 1/2 NF yogurt, 1/2 banana L: 4 oz tuna salad, slice whole wheat bread, veggie salad w/ chickpeas + Wish-Bone French, 1/2 c bean + wheat pasta soup, Babybel Light, 1/2 oz pumperknickle pretzels D: 2 oz pork tenderloin, 1 1/2 oz brown rice, 2 oz carrots, 1 oz mushrooms S: 8 oz artichokes, 2/3 oz sesame sticks + pumpkin seeds Today's Calories: 1329 Fats: 37, Carbs: 182, Protein: 81 Weekly Average: 1392 Fats: 49, Carbs: 187, Protein: 76 April's Average: 1264 Fat: 45, Carbs: 162, Protein: 70

Hi Ro! Weird but pretty good eats today. I should have had more protein but had watermelon stuffed in my mouth most of the day. It's grazing bu****ery, low on the glycemic index and so satisfying! Moves....lots of gardening throughout the day and also cleaning up the patio and garage. DH even got out the Biiiiiig ladder for me so I could tie up the ivy we are trying to grow on the light pole. I am tired and sore. It's great!!! 1) Melissa's chocolate pancakes made into aebelskivers filled w/ sf rasp. jam (oh my!) topped w/1/4 sf syrup and a splooge of sf whipped cream, 1 serv. egg beaters. I defy any restaurant to make me a more satisfying breakfast! --sf, nf soy latte --grazed 2 cups watermelon 2) low-carb chicken tortilla 'wrap' w/2 T ff ranch dressing and steamed asparagus, 1 slice tofu/lemon 'cake' and 1 ounce ff cream cheese whip --2 more cups watermelon 3) 2 succulent grilled portobellos, 1 apple-cinnamon rice cake --2 MORE cups watermelon --another soy latte calories: 1063 carbs: 160 fats: 22 protein: 70 fiber: 39 The carbs are so high because of the watermelon and the 'cake'. So from those types of sources I am not worried at all. If it was from grazing on cereal or crackers, I'd fret. All in all it was a great day! Hope tomorrow will be good too. Thank you SO, SO MUCH for the encouragement to get back to logging my food better. It was just what I needed!
