Question for the Resident Nurse
Hi Amy..
I do know a lot of the antidepressants out there we can take as long as they are not extended or sustained released. We cannot absorb this form properly. Now many of the meds do cause excess weight gain.. so do know that (not trying to scare you). I am on wellbutrin for anxiety but its intended for depression. It is one of the only out there that decreases appetite and promotes weight loss.. does it work? i donno.. I take one dose a day and its not extended release. I probably should be taking more often but it will interfere with my sleep.
Diflucan is an antifungal. Whenever you have skin that drapes over other tissues it provides warmth and moisture to occur which creates a medium for bacteria (specifically yeast) to grow. Should be very effective when used in the amount and frequency it was prescribed. Be sure to clean with a gentle form of soap (like dove) daily without any scents or added "extras" to prevent further irritation and apply your cream as directed. Be sure you took pictures to turn into insurance for your TT if you are going to head that direction and its good he prescribed u a cream.. this goes in your records and will help your claim if you do submit one.
Hugs!
