looks good, but not sure a 2.99 cookie warrants all that information. I am surprised they did not ask for my blood type for first born!! You will have to let me know how they taste, I prefer not to give all that info out. Thanks for the info!! ~ Terisa

Wow...maltitol is way down on the list of ingredients so it wouldn't be so horribly gas-producing! Usually it is the second or third ingredient in most sf treats. How did you hear about this little goodie? And thank you for passing along the info! Molly

Maltitol???? What??? I have no idea of what ingredients to watch out for... do you have a list? I listed another one to you yesterday that sounded like a "sugar"... now you mention another. I haven't gotten into any "dumping" problems, as most of my foods are basic veggies, grains, and fruits... but I'd rather avoid harmful additives too. Ro

Hey Ro...maltitol is a sugar alcohol. NOt so much dumping as the "laxative" effect.

These look really good... I am looking into ordering the muffins that Diana received... I think that the sampler is at this link... http://store.vitalicious.com/supersampler.html I finally got brave enough to go outside my comfort zone, since Atkin's bars have been my biggest temptation. (Remember... I had an addiction to snack bars when MO) But these cookies look so good that I am thinking about buying them too. So here's my question: Is it Pre-WLS behavior to want to "HIDE" them? I think not because I won't be hiding them so that I can "secretly" eat them. I will be hiding them because the GUYS will eat them first! I've brought in "MY FOOD" to just get 1 (one). I feel selfish! PS: Where is a good place to hide them? I don't want to freeze them, if the chocolate will lose it's original taste. Honest Question! Ro

A friend of mine sent me the sampler.. you have to keep them frozen all the time b/c they have no preservatives.. once they have been at room temperate for 3 days they are no longer good, so that answers that question You must freeze them! Why do we "hide" it? I donno.. i have to say prob a preop tendency.. I wish I had the answer.. I have "hid" some stuff myself even postop when I was doing really bad.. its definate closet eating and a sense of being "ashamed". You will be ok with these.. one a day.. yummy snack and nutritious with good benefits for u, can't beat that if they are eaten in a controlled way. *hugs*
