15 month update!
Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
So... one of my favorite bible verses is Ephesians 3:20, it says:
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us"
Well... Once again I have been blessed exceedingly abundanty above that which I've asked of Him.
I finally had my 1 year check up with my surgeon (only a couple months late hehehe) ;) and had my labs done again a couple of weeks ago (9 viles of blood!!!) my surgeon tests me for everything, and him and I went over the results and I am so pleased and happy to share with you all that they were perfect! or in my PCP's words they are wonderful and IDEAL, right where they should be!
I have lost over 110lbs and have gone down from 3X or 26/28 to size 10 petite and L tops, he said I should try to lose another 25 to 40 lbs and doesn't need to see me again for another year, I of course managed to twist his arm into seeing me in 6 months instead.
God is so good!, I can do so many things I couldn't do before, like sitting my precious little boy on my lap, bend down to give him a bath, chase after him, sit on ground to play with him... I can walk, run, dance without losing my breath, can cross my legs, wear high heels, I can fit in small open spaces, my blood presure is that of a "teenager" (my doctor's words)
I am so happy for my results!. I may never be a size 2 or 4 or 6 ,then again I didn't do this to be a certain size but did this to have a healthier life to be able to "live" and take care of my little one... and God has been so good to me... to Him be all the Glory!!!
For those of you who may want to know, I eat a variety of foods whi*****lude carbs, and I take one prenatal everyday.. (and yes somedays I forget) but try my best not to in general.
Thanks for sharing my JOY!
Hugs,
Erika

Erika, thank you for sharing your amazing story and beautiful pictures with us here. How inspirational! You have made such wonderful progress and have so much to be proud of in this big struggle. It is so good to see another person who has made positive changes in life and is reaping the blessings of them. Keep up the good work on those vitamins so that your labs will stay good, too. With good health you have so much to look forward to in life now, isn't it amazing?
