Er, no moves outta me...sorry! I MEANT to get on the treadmill but we got company today and it threw my schedule off balance. Yeah, that's what it was... Did a LOT of baking today. Most of it was some really fun, evil revenge-baking (a bunch of us old-foagie ladies at work are trying to teach a lesson to a rude young pup at work by bringing in a whole lot of treats in chocolate-- which he hates) have to say this doesn't say much for my character but I had a blast baking! LOL!! Also baked some healthy treats for the family today and ate my fair share and then some. One fun cookie was this one...lots of ingredients in it and I think my additions made it better. (see my comments under Geminidream) http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=25893 Here's my day's gluttony...numbers actually didn't come out too bad but I know once again it will blow away my 130 reading on the scale. That seems to be my weekend torture...get to 130 and then lose it by Monday morning. ....le sigh... I suffer from overactive fork disease, what can I say? --nf, sf soy latte coffee and creamer...then the panic eating: 1) 1/4 cup egg beaters, 2 strips turkey bacon, 1 Power Crunch cookies n cream bar 2) 2 sf ice cream bars...during mad-dash cleaning before my FIL arrived (emotional eating, moi?) 3) 1 cup steamed red cabbage 4) 1 cup homemade turkey salad on nothing (chopped turkey, low-fat mayo, cucumbers, red peppers, onion) 5) dough and baked cookies equivalent to 5 cookies (recipe above) 6) 1 low fat double chocolate muffin --more baking again This is the most carbs I've eaten in one day since doing the 5DPT! calories: 105 carbs: 152 fats: 29 protein: 61 I think maybe before going to bed I'd better have a Nectar Latte protein cocoa. (1 scoop Latte Cappuccino which is decaf and a packet of diet swiss miss) That will bump up the protein sufficiently. Gotta keep out of the carbs tomorrow and get on the treadmill! We miss each other.

Check out sparkrecipes.com which is the companion site to sparkpeople.com. They have tons and tons of brownie recipes in their database...you should be able to find something interesting to try. So far all the brownies I've tried have been way too healthy and even I didn't like them. If it is for me to eat I just don't go anywhere near a traditional recipe...no sugar, no white flour, no butter. Once you start tinkering with those things you just can't expect the same results. I'm just too committed to my new eating plan since surgery (and know my old weaknesses!) to go back to old foods. Maybe you should try that mega protein fudge recipe that is over there, it is made with chocolate protein powder, neufchatel cream cheese and a few other ingredients but sounds like it gives a really good chocolatey experience. And there seems to be quite a few of us here lately who are having big chocolate fits. I bookmarked the recipe and when PMS starts whomping me here pretty soon plan to try it out. Of course, there is always Melissa's Protein Fudge recipe too...very delicious and satisfying but hard to keep out of once it is made. It is a similar food but has peanut butter in it for extra flavour much healthier nutritional numbers. This recipe saved my sanity during the holidays when my family was eating regular fudge. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=176696 This is my version of it, to make Melissa's original just substitute real peanut butter for the soynut butter. It is sooooo good!
