Five Day Pouch Test Bump Up
Forgive me, I wanted to start another thread to bump this up closer so it was easier to find. How is your day three going, Diana? Any tips for us??? I just mentioned to Melissa that I am hard-boiling eggs for it right now so they'll be all ready. Have my tuna pouches packed and will get some salsa in my little 2 oz. containers too.
Soft protein, here I come!
(Too bad the cottage cheese pancakes aren't on the list, I could really go for some now!) LOL!

Thank YOU for getting me going, Diana. I have been meaning to do this since Melissa brought it to us but just hadn't decided when. It seemed like as good a time as any with the gain I've had recently. Though, for the life of me I can't see how anybody can lose weight eating these fatty soups! The calorie count on them is really scary--nearly 300 calories for ONE CUP! Sheesh.... Definitely will not be in my meal rotation after this test. LOL! They are too yummy!!!!
Molly we are allowed eggs and cottage cheese on day 3.. i did have the pancakes last time I just used 1 tbsp of ww flour and 1 tbs of vanilla protein powder.. it was fine. To me it is still a soft protein. But again its all in how you interpret the rules and how u feel you should follow them. I'd say go for it if u want it!
I use the split pea soup b/c 1/2 cup actually fills me on day 2 where on day 1 it was 1 cup.. no joke! Did this last time too! 1 cup without the cheese, bacon, sour cream is 184 cals, so 1/2 cup is only 90ish and add the other stuff its prolli 150-200. It can't be that bad.. but i do know what you mean. I wanted to make the pumpkin but the fat content scared me too much. I hear its wonderful though!
I baked my turkey bacon omelet (5DPT recipe) and letting it cool so hubby can have some before work tomorrow.
I am also going to make either salmon or tuna patties from the recipe given. I was going to make the chicken feta salad.. but hubby won't eat it so it would be wasted as we can't eat it on day 4 or 5. I will also boil some eggs for snacks.
I am looking forward to tomorrow.. even if I didn't lose another pound I am glad to be back into my old clothes.. i feel so much better!

Hi Molls! I made the turkey bacon omelet thing.. that you bake kinda like a quiche. It was baked in a 9 inch pie pan and made into 6 servings. One slice STUFFED me and let me tel ya, prior to the 5DPT.. woulda taken a lot more.. way more At least 2 pieces and woulda been snacky in a hour. I don't care what anyone says there is something to this 5DPT.. im so glad its there to help us get back into a healthy pouch sensation and satisfaction level! Hope you are having a terrific day!
