What did you eat and how did you move...Sunday Edition!
My eats turned out pretty good today, considering how bad I've been lately! (Oops, except for protein. I'll have to add a prot. drink later.) And...I managed to get in 65 minutes on the treadmill too so that is a very good thing. Knee hurts but who cares.

Your surgery is on Tuesday already? Wow, it seems like just yesterday you were posting about getting approved for it and now it is nearly here already. Congratulations!!! I will definitely keep you in my prayers and hope that it will go easily for you and that you will have a speedy recovery.

ER visit due to tachycardia (fast heart beat) secondary to pulling a chest wall muscle. Freaking lard ass cat! Picked up CC last night, and felt a twinge in the right side of my chest. By 8:30am this morning, had full blow rapid heartbeat, and inability to move without pain registering about an 8 on the pain scale. Went to ER to make sure it was just the chest muscle (due to family heart history). Clean bill of health, home on rest and Tylenol & Vicodin for pain.
B: IV :P
L: Another IV
D: 3 oz of boneless beef rib slow baked in oven, 1/4 c of white cheddar & broccoli pasta and about 1 oz of con
S: Four Wheat Flour Chocolate chip cookies
Gonna try to get in either an EAS or Nectar Fuzzy Navel protein before bed. But not really feeling like moving much.
OW! I've pulled chest muscles before and they hurt like crazy. That must be SOME fat cat. whoa.... (Now I gotta go look at your profile for pics!)
So glad that you got quick medical attention with your family history, what a smart cookie you are! (lowfat kind, of course!)
Rest up and feel better today, ok?
Hugs!

I need to get pics to add. These are my Callie's grandkids. They are visiting.. um, maybe permanently, cause their mom moved to an apartment and can't have but one cat, and needs to come up with the deposit.
So, I have CC, Scooter (both grandkids) and then Callie's daughter, Maddie (Madelyn Rose) back at the house with us.
I think CC weighs close to 20lbs. He's a long haired Siamese mix. Has the sweetest disposition, nothing like my Pearl (Ray's Siamese mix).
AFter looking at pictures of your fur babies I went online in search of a siamese baby for us yet again and still am stumped as to where we can find one here. It is going to be way too expensive to buy one from a hobby breeder and they hardly ever show up at the ASPCA here. We have our hearts set on Siamese but I think we should just consider rescuing a little furry soul who needs us instead.
If you have the time and patience, try looking in to Siamese rescue groups. They are always trying to place rescued "babies".
Found this guy on Craig's List:

We saw him, very pretty but we are looking for a chocolate point and my husband has his heart set on a kitten. I don't think it will happen and we really should be giving a good home to a deserving kitty like the little blue point boy. I will keep 'working on' my husband and see how long it takes to win him over.
