Hi! Sorry to see another weekend come to an end but oh well... It felt kind of like wasted time for me since I had to rest my knee this weekend but it paid off and the knee is so much better. Looks like I'll make it through the long day ahead at work tomorrow and then be able to get back to my treadmill again on Tuesday. Today has not been a good (or normal!) eating day for me. I've been drinking a lot of coffee and not eating much. Here it is so far and what is planned for tonight: --coffee, coffee, coffee 1) 2 oz. soy crisps 2) 1 sf Hunts snack pack pudding 3) 2 serv. veggie soup 4) planned: 4 oz. chicken breast, 1/2 cup caulitators 5) planned: EAS shake calories: 775 carbs: 31 fats: 19 protein: 38 You know I am usually the Resident Piggy so this is a really weird day for me. Even weirder...on the scale this morning I weighed 131. What a strangely fluctuating couple of weeks it has been for my weight. Whatcha bet it will be up again for our group weigh-in on Weds.? hahaha Come on...I know I'm not the only one out here eating this weekend. Let me know what you have been up to also! Hugs! Molly

...Here's my Eats (no moves... except the jaws ... That was wonderful, I have got to try to remember that because I am SO going to steal it! And congratulations for saying no to the bread pudding!!! As much as I used to love bread pudding the thought of it makes my chest hurt now. I can't even begin to imagine putting some smooshy, wet bread in my pouch and then asking it to detonate like a nuclear bomb. ('nyoo-clure' for the Bush haters) haha I have been making homemade bread for my guys lately and when the last loaf went uneaten too many days I made it into croutons (sans butter!) and then thought I could eat a few cubes since it was dry and crunchy (and whole wheat!). WRONG! Once again, it blew up inside my poor unsuspecting pouch and wreaked chaos. No bread for Molly...only nice, safe homemade muffins, protein bars and cottage cheese pancakes. That is the closest thing to bread that I need to eat. gotta get to bed, that 3 a.m. alarm is lying in wait for me...

I want to eat with your family! You had a lot of carb temptation thrown your way but you did terriffic...great job! So the sf cheesecake you mentioned before was from WalMart where was the marble cake from or was it the box mix you spoke about? That would be fun to make for my FIL who is an insulin-dependant diabetic. I can usually get him to eat my sf desserts at family gatherings instead of a full-sugar thing and anything new and fun would be good. I hear ya on the rice issues. Rice has not been a buddy of mine since I got my first pouch in 1999. And oh, I grew up on rice...for a snack Mom would heat up a dish of white rice, top it with a dollop of butter and then several spoonfuls of white sugar. White on white on fat! LOL! Molly

Hi, Rachel... I think that you chose wisely... even the desserts! Is there a way to put this info into FitDay or SparkPeople? Ro Just as a guess, I'd think... calories: 500 carbs: 50 fats: 15 protein 20 Molly...Is this about right? JAWS!!!

I haven't tried entering it but I don't think that is high enough on the calories or carbs. The beans, tostada shell and dessert would probably pump that up more into the 1300 range and around 125 carbs if i were just guessing. Just an opinion from the mb carb pig.

Glad you are liking Sparkpeople. Have you tried out their recipe site? It is easy to access from being there or you can just go to Sparkrecipes.com, I think. Try their search engine to find a recipe for rice custard, bet you will come up with many. Or you can use their recipe calculator...that is one of the most fun things! I love that it will calculate out all the calories. You have to get creative sometimes when it doesn't have an ingredient in their database but it isn't very hard.
