This has been a long day... playing all by myself... good thing I'm amused easily! Let's see... What was I saying earlier... Oh, yeah! WE all eat differently... How About the Banana Sticker Awards?!?! Just one "Good Eat" and you're a Success! Just one "Rule" -- no complaining or updating on the not-so-goods... OK? just Goods... then it's easy to add-up a nice list of Goods.. so list them if there's more than 1. Good Eats come from nature and have very little processing. You are what you eat! Great, Today I'm a fruit salad.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mine: 3 oz fruit salad.

Not a problem... Seems that trying to get back to everyday foods, including fruits and veggies, has been hard. Ultimately, the goal is to have a well-rounded menu. It's so easy to feel terrible after eating one "no-no" that we just don't give ourselves credit for good choices. Simply add your good eats for the day onto the thread. At the end of each week, I can post the number of good eats; end of the month... who has WON the Banana Sticker Award. Might need a kiddie motivation chart... HeHeHe Anyone competitive in the group and ready for a little fun challenge? If you update the following: Diana: berries, wheat pita, yogurt, nuts Then I'll will jot down 4 pts for your daily total day If it is a overly processed food or evil carb / unhealthy food, no point for that food. Look for the daily thread to "play"... Real Foods are the goal here!

After thinking it over, I can not possible do this amount of juggling of info. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Sorry, I am unable to do this! Ro

Ro, I like your initial idea but make it simple on yourself...you can just be our official Banana Sticker Giver and when you are doing an eats post of your own or responding to something else and you notice someone has eaten something healthy then just tell that person they are getting a sticker. You don't need to keep track for everybody, that IS too time consuming and we'd never want to cause you that much grief. But it would be fun now and then to get reminded that even tho we focus so much on our bad entries we actually DO manage to eat good stuff too. You come up with the best ideas, thank you! We are so lucky to have you here! Molly

Hi, Molly... Thanks for the compliment... Everyone is trying so hard to meet their goal and then maintain... and doing a good job at it. Rather than having a "Monitor"... I could see the mentioning of the Banana Stickers to one another as a cute reminder that improvement has taken place by a member... from whom ever says it. It does feel great to get hear that we've had a good day... a great day... now and then!!! Ro

That's an excellent idea! I've seen cute banana emoticons on people's messages over on Susan Maria's website, wish I were smart enough to figure out how to bring one of them over here. It would be fun to share that too! You have such great ideas, Ro! Hugs!!! Molly
