What did you eat and how did you move- Sunday
Hi gang! Another weekend has drawn to a close and from the looks of it we did pretty well as a group. I hope that those of us in the north are all home safe and sound and not out on treacherous roads. My boss called to inform me that they closed the BX early today and the base commander recommended that people come in two hours late on Monday. So I get to sleep in a little Monday! Hopefully I will be able to get from my house to the main roads and then it will be ok. I expect it will be a long, slow drive to work tomorrow. My son is praying school will be closed, of course.
Today was a huge domestic baking day for me and it was fun! I made several batches of different protein bars...this time I substituted some TVP (textured vegetable protein...soy) for part of the oatmeal and it really reduced the carb amounts which makes me happy. Also made some protein custards, a batch of PK's protein pumpkin muffins, bran muffins, diet puddings and bread for the family. My house smells divine! I tried out one of the preset workouts on the new treadmill and had my butt thoroughly kicked by the 'easiest' routine. So much for thinking I'm so fit and all from my job. HA!
Here's eats today:
1) whole wheat tortilla, 2 serv. egg beaters, 1/4 cup salsa
2) 1 homemade prot. bar (had to sample it!)
3) 1 homemade prot. bar (another batch so I had to have one)
4) bran muffin (ditto)
5) 1 cup vegetable soup
calories: 593
carbs: 84
fats: 9
protein: 47
There is something really wrong here...this can't be all I've eaten today. I have had a lot of coffee and tea today as well as a lot of water. What worries me now is that I'm having this awful abdominal pain. It is in that left-side spot we all had trouble with early after surgery and then I have a lot of pain mid-level too. When it hits (comes in waves) I can't even catch my breath or talk and am doubled over but touching it hurts. Almost feels like nuclear-level gas pains at times. It really doesn't feel like my typical ulcer pain and isn't responding to any of my usual meds. If it doesn't ease off in a few hours I will call my surgeon's on-call line. Hopefully it is just a fluke. Maybe a combination of stress over the weather, not eating enough, drinking too much coffee, the TVP...whatever. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm not particularly scared about it just annoyed.

The most I get baked are mini muffins made from a packaged mix.

Not feeling so hot today, just realized I've not drank or ate much of anything, since I'm under the weather. Have to do better tomorrow.

L: Umm.. forgot to eat (I was sleeping)
D: 1/2 McChicken sandwich and a few french fries (fed the rest to the hubby. I had the other IUI today, and after leaving the office, didn't feel like cooking, so grabbed a chicken dinner for the hubby from McDonalds)
Working on my first 33oz of the day. All I've done all day is sleep. Gonna grab a protein drink and go curl up on the bed, and hopefully not fall asleep before I fini**** ;)

Happy Monday - geeze I wi**** was Tuesday or even Thursday. Michigan is cold and rainy - hope you guys are getting better weather - except for snowed in Molly and family! I am so impressed with you Molly, on cold days I just want to stay in bed and hibernate but you BAKE BAKE BAKE all day long. My husband did make me a batch of pumpkin protein bars yesterday - I am very lucky cause he is a MUCH better cook than I will ever be.
Ro - You inspired me too and I finally took all required calcium pills today .... I have been slacking for a long time. My bones thank you!!!!

s - tall skinny mocha lattee from Starbucks - (90)
D - 2 whole grain wasa crackers (90) 3 slices deli turkey (90??) and half an avocado (??)_
s - 4 organic dried apricots (25)
Alot of food but I dont think the calories exceeded 1100 + the 1/2 avocado.... will have to log into fit day to figure it all out exactly
