Hi All! Happy Hump Day! Hope you had a great Wednesday.. already 1/2 way through the work week.. goes by so fast doesn't it?
So how did ya eat today? Did ya feel in control, are you watching your "refined carbohydrates" like the article talks about? Remember you are the captain of your own ship and you direct it where it goes and how it sails..
Day 2 of 5DPT.. (well almost 3 days!)
-Arctic Cappacino Protein Drink using 4 oz of light vanilla soy mil**** water, blended.
-NAS Blue Bunny Banana/Coconut Yogurt.
-Cafe Caramel EAS Shake
-Split Pea/Ham Soup 1 cup (off 5DPT website)
-1 cup SF Jello w/ Light Whip
-Caramel Protein Shake with 8 oz of light vanilla soy mil**** blended.
-NAS Blue Bunny Blueberry Bliss yogurt.
Cals: 952, fats 19, carbs 88, fiber 14, protein 103.
As for movement, I still didn't make it to the gym as I ended up having to run an unexpected errand not in that direction at all... i did however continue to clean the house and move around a lot. Tomorrow for sure.. I am going the gym! Promise!

Hi! Just out of the shower and heading for bed pretty soon but wanted to see if you got the eats post going. Felt like way too many carbs today but I worked hard to make sure they were good carbs and slowly but surely it feels like there is a smidgen of control beginning here. Moves were four hours at work today at top speed...we are having another visit/inspection and everybody stresses out over wanting everything to look its best.
--nf, sf soy latte
1) 1/2 cup greek yogurt (not fage, yuck!), 1/2 cup kashi go lean
2) Oh Yeah! protein bar, both wafers
3) GNC Cinnamon Bun Bar (out shopping and had to have some quick protein)
4) 1 pkg. edamame, 1/4 cup craisins, 1 ind. wrapped prune
5) 1 pbj rice cake (1 T soynut butter, 1 T all-fruit spread)
6) 1 homemade protein bar (desperately craving something carb-y)
7) 1 carrot cake muffin, 2 T 'whip'
calories: 107
carbs: 114
fats: 32
protein: 87
Did better with the fats again, must have been the soynut butter. Tomorrow is another truck day so it will be a long hard day. Here's the plan:
nf, sf soy latte
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 cup kashi go lean, 1/2 cup cooked apples
- 1/2 cup caulitators (mashed cauliflower), 2 oz. chicken breast
- 1 sf jello
- 1 homemade protein bar
- strawberry EAS
- 1 chicken thigh, small spinach salad, 1/2 cup caulitators for dinner, 1 ind. wrapped prune
- 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese, 1 T sf jam
Let's see if I can stick to it....
