Hello, have a question during my first year out I had to take the chewable calium pills. After a year can you now take the kind you can just swallow? What is everyone using for calcium? Also I am getting the B12 sublingual dots anyone take these and if so how much, one dot has 500 micro grams so how much to take. Thanks kelly

I have been taking regular calcium pills for a while now, I take calcium citrate. I also take the B12 in the sublingual form, however, mine is 1000 mc in one pill.

We only absorbed calcium citrate form of calcium as a postop op.. not carbonate. Right now I am using the citrical creamy bites 500mg with Vit D twice a day but I am going to switch to UpCal.. its a powdered calcium with a Dry form of Vit D3. I guess the vit D has to be powdered to absorb.. the vit d otherwise we get none of. I am reading lots and lots of grads with low vit D and this is why... so UpCal for me.. do a google search on it or go to the graduate board and ask for Vitalady.. she will help you. Hugs! p.s. Bayer bought the citrical creamy bites and they will soon be phased out. Another reason I am switching.
