Post Op Visit

I had my post op visit today and I got one drain out of four taken out....let me tell you, it hurt! Last time the drain was in my incision area so that was all numb, this time my drains are all by my whoo haa....OUCH! Luckily it only lasted a few minutes. I will be posting my 6 day out pictures so take a look if you would like!

Owie, sorry to hear that drain hurt coming out. And you have three more to go? Oooh.... Hope they won't hurt as much and hope they're gone soon. Heal quickly!

Thank you very much. Once i got home I called my surgeon to tell him what an idiot his nurse was. When she put my dressing back on, she taped it to my pubic hair...hello, when I came in was it that way? No. I think there was a much better way to do it. He just laughed. Good thing him and I have a love hate relationship. Anyway, I see him again Monday where he said one drain and possibly a few staples will come out. The remaining two drains will be in for at least a month. Heck, I planned on going back to work after three weeks.....this is kind of ruining everything. I wouldn't mind, other than the fact that I only had 3 weeks of time total to take off and had no choice but to have this fixed. Oh well. It will all work out. Thanks for listening to me.
