Gotta Love South Dakota

So I am no 6 days post TT and hernia repair and am going crazy. The weather here has been awful. Yesterday when I woke up it was 15 below. BRRRRR!!!! When I had my bypass last year it was no where near this cold and I was able to walk outside until I got of my pain meds. This year is a struggle. I am slowly getting off the pain meds but still can't drive to the mall or gym to walk. ERRRRR! Drive me crazy. I so need to move to the tropics!

Sounds like you are doing well ....can you not drive cuz of the pain meds? (is taking the bus or a cab an option?) The thought of not being able to get to the mall--makes me hyperventilate..........i am just one of "those" girls---i dont necessarily buy anything when i go BUT i just like to be at the mall....i walk and walk and walk and shop..........and walk somemore....... I cannot believe 15 below zero.......it is probably 38 degrees here and i still have not taken my jacket off (inside the building at work) i cannot imagine how you must feel. Hang in there sister.....you will be off the pain meds in a jiffy and back to your regular routine....

sorry to brag but it's 74 degrees here today and almost everyday during the winter Hope you feel better soon!
