***Join Us! Wednesday Weekly Weigh In! 1/9/08***
Hi December Babies!
It is the first time we are weighing in on a Wednesday! Hope this works out for everyone! Hope you had a good week! It sounds like many of us got a little off track around the holidays and hoping to be better now with the new year upon us. Let us know how you are doing.. join us with weekly weigh in! Many of you do not participate any more in this and that is fine (no pressure!) but I also know that many of you said you *want* to be more accountable. So please, nobody is here to flame, judge or put you down if you have a weight gain or if the scale is stagnant.. we are here for SUPPORT, so feel free to join in and keep it "real". I hope all of your efforts this week have been good for you and you feel more in control. I am trying to keep doing the daily "eats and moves" post, as you can see I am falling behind on that. I will try to make a better effort. Life has been nutty for me up till the holidays and even a bit beyond, so I appreciate all of you helping me with this. I hope life slows down a bit here soon. I like that many of you are "preplanning" your day. How is that working for you? Any pointers you would like to share with the rest of us on how to "stay on track". Keep up the great work everyone!!! Be determined and focused and keep your eye on the prize.. I am so proud of us all for logging on here, keeping it real, and wanting to stay on track.. support and motivation is crucial for us now that we are a year out!
So how did ya do this week? I started a lot more weight training since the first of the year and restarted my birth control so my numbers are gonna seem wild for a while but I am not freaking out about it. I have a lot of changes both muscularly and hormonally right now. My friend and I went out for our birthdays yesterday . We went and had "tapas" at a restaraunt (small little plates of appetizers - had lamb chops with asparagus, grilled honey mustard shrimp skewers a top a bed of greens with blue cheese and grapes, sushimi, edamame, ahem lots of salt too ) and I honestly had prob around 2000 cals for the day, something I have to admit didn't make me feel "good" but allowed myself a day "off" from my normal eating patterns. I still picked good choices and avoided all bad carbs just ate way above my normal caloric intake.. but back on track today! That's what it is all about right? We have a bad day.. we take the reigns, grab control and get back on the horse! So here are my numbers everyone..

Would like to be between 130-135 so this is "ok" still.. today is a new day! I see my therapist today and then I am hitting the gym again..

I am trying so hard to get below 200...it is just bugging me. I am also trying to de-carb (more like de-sugar) myself from the holidays...a hershey kiss here a kiss there...they sneak up on me...too much at once I feel like doodie but I know that if I space them out I can indulge...HUGE problem.
And, of course, the new invention of Creamcheese Hershey Kisses! OMG!
No more! And, by all means avoid the Valentine's isle at Walmart! My 3 YO is getting a bag of apples for Valentine's! Seriously!

Not exactly thrilled with my weight loss. I was hoping to be down a lot more than I am now, but it is still coming off. My stalls last forever then out of nowhere I drop several pounds. I want to get down to 120, but not sure that this is a possibility. It is soooooooooo slow now. SUCKS!!

I have been doing better eating this week, not great but better. I do really good until the evening time. I put my kids to sleep between 7:30-8 and then I head to the gym for an hour. When I get back I find myself starving! I have tried having a EAS shake when I get back, but it just doesn't cut it. Any ideas? Also, there is no way to go right to bed when I get home. My hubby works mids so I stay up with him until he leaves.
Hello and Happy New Year!
I am going up and down with the weight. I was particularly alarmed this week because weight has been fluctuating upwards and I have been exercising all week. I thought maybe due to time of the month but then that went away and the weight didn't go with it. Then I thought it was water weight- and it may be..Still, I am not at 140 which is my max weight. I'm not gonna stress about it, just keep on exercising, watch the carbs a little more and watch what I eat late in the evening. I plan on drinking a protein shake for dinner tonight and will start flip-flopping my day, having heavier meals in the morning and afternoon since I get home so late from working out. Then having a lite meal in the evening. I am praying this works, I do not want to see 140 on the scale ever again. My numbers have been strange and maybe someone can help: Jan 1 137.2, Jan 2 137.6, Jan 3 137.6, Jan 4 137.8, Jan 5 136.8, Jan 6 137.6, Jan 7 137.8, Jan 8 138.4 and today 138.6.
We will see what happens and yes, I must remain active on these boards and keep on weighing on a daily basis so I can do damage control if need be. I think I might not be eating enough or I might just be freaking out unnecessarily. I really want to get to my goal of 130 real soon here and going up, up, up, even by 2 ounces is not helping me. I will keep plugging away at it and if it doesn't change by the end of the week, I will start a new approach next week. Luckily, I still do not experience hunger, so I need to use that to my advantage and really make good choices about what to eat. Its easier to do when you don't have the "hunger" to influence you.
