I am BACK
I was in Phoenix for the new years so havent been able to log on- but i wanted to let you all know for the past 4 weeks I did not write anything down nor did I exercise - I dont know how badly i did because i am too afraid to step on the scale- Thankfully I DUMP so i did not have any sweet things- BUT I am a GRAZER.
I had read top ten mistakes that people make after wls and thought i would share with you without all the detail -
1. not taking supplements
2. assume that you are cured of Obesity
3. drinking with meals
4. not eating right
5. not enough water
6. grazing
7. not exercising
8. wrong carbs or too many carbs
9. drinking soda
10. drinking alcohol
ok--i broke rules 1,3,4,6,7,8 & 9 over the holidays! But beginning today it is a new year. I missed all of you--and hope that you are all well....

For the record I broke rule #5 and some #7. I am making myself get a kick in the pants. I actually did well over the holidays by the grace of God.. not sure how. If I do "graze" I try to keep my cals right, so its a "planned" thing. Now if I can just figure out what the cals should be! lol..

Good to have you back, Dawn. I'm so jealous of your new look...everybody here except me is getting younger with weight loss and I'm just getting older looking. You look gorgeous, girl!!!
Thank you for posting that list. I've guilty of 4, occasionally 5, definitely 6 and 8. Grazing is my number one worry followed by excess carb consumption. At least I know I'm not eating horrible carbs but it isn't much consolation.

ok, since we are in confession mode, I have broken the follow rules:
1. not taking supplements - this is very bad I know...I missed several days - back on track now
4. not eating right I had never had a period since surgery. The one day I wanted to eat everything except the kitchen sink, well even that started to get tempting. As it turns out I was about to start my period. NOW i know what you guys are talked about!!!
5. not enough water - OK my BP is plummeting again - have to get more H2O in.
7. not exercising - one vehicle broke down, now I am not able to go cause once I get home from work hubby has to use car to go to work....this sucks and I am not happy about it. I love going to the gym. Working out at home is next to impossible. Try working out with two toddlers at your feet. I swear I have nearly kicked their little heads off during Tae Bo. Gotta be careful
