stall broken, i'm down to 122.5 as of this morning, 21.0bmi
i was almost convinced i was done losing, i was in a stall for over a months bouncing between 124 and 128.
yesterday, i picked up a pair of jeans in Marshalls for 20 bucks (my first size 0 juniors) and they fit prefectly. i tried on a size 2 first but the salesperson was like "they are way too loose on you". who the hell would have though? i was size 20 a year ago and now i'm a size 0?????
anyway, only 7.5 more lbs to goal
Congrats Natalie! You are doing awesome! Did you lower your cals back down again or still staying higher? Just curious.. I am eating around 1200ish or trying to, I have had a couple days where I want more or less. I posted on the graduate board about the volumes I can eat (yes I am in that panic mode about 'volumes' again). Seems I can eat more than many.. I hate that. Makes me realize that I shouldn't do it even if I can AND I better stick to healthier options because I CAN eat more.. calories could really add up if I ate more "junk". Anyway.. I am excited for you! Now what will you wear after a zero? Serious question here.... 7.5 lbs down on that already tiny frame will put you down below that, you realize that right? Do you go to the girls department? Amazing how far you have come.. keep inspiring! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and will have a great, healthy 2008! *hugs* Love ya!

actually, i hate to admit it but i've been eating close to 2000 if not more or average, especially including wine. moving back to houston on December 24 is a little stressfull and i'm still trying to get into the new routine (food and exercise)
stepped on a sclale the day after christmas and it showed 129!!!! so do not eat too much chinese food on X-mas and don't wake up late at night and devour leftovers with you boyfriend (i can eat so much, it's scary)
so the day before yesterday i went to the gym and kind of did a detox day with liquid diet (but hey, with EAS milkshakes at 110, 17g of protein a pop i don't feel deprived at all). yesterday, the scale read 124.5 so at least i was relieved the 129 was not "real weight". yesterday no gym, but had a few eas shakes through the day and in the evening w/boyfriend, a very good portion of white meat roast chicken and some fresh cauliflow for dinner with a glass or two of Cabernet. was comfortably full whe i went to bed but nervous about the scale today. and then, guess what, this morning it showed 122.5--my lowest ever. i was standing there in my undies, stepping up and down 3 times to make sure it really is 122.5 and finally screamed at greg to come look and tell me what the number is. it was still 122.5
as far as clothes goes, i'm still btw a 0 and a 2. w/only 7.5lbs to go, i'll probably be a slid zero (maybe even a double 0) plus i'll save a lot of money shopping at juniors.
i will have to pay more for business attire, though, because it is hard enough to find a size 0 suit and they never go on sale. oh well...a small prive to pay.
an unrelated question: whe do you get your coffee caramel EAS shakes (you know, the ones with the same nutritional content--110cal, 17 protein), i'm obsessed with wanting them (i got all other flavors)

Yes, I do love those EAS shakes also! I get the cafe caramel ones from their website. If you go to EAS.com you can find them there.. its the cheapest I can find b/c its free shipping and 10 percent off of 2 cases (I believe) which gives you 48 shakes for 86 bucks.. somewhere in there. They do have caffeine in them.. just FYI.. i do love them tho and look forward to them daily. Hope this helps.. loves, Melissa

yes, i'm aware of the caffeine part but i've been an extremely bad girl about caffeine--back on venti starbucks cappucinos with an x-tra expresso shot and on gallons of diet coke with lime---i know, bubbles are bad, but i decided to pick my battles.
so doing a caffeinated protein shake would probably be much better for me than what i'm doing now.

I am not as "strict" with caffeine as I used to be, I still order decaf at starbucks etc.. but do let myself have a regular cup of coffee once in a while but I always make sure I have gotten enough fluid otherwise and of course I have my loved shake every night.. damn thing does give me gas that could kill someone.. do u have gas issues? Man i could seriously run any man out of a house.. its horrible. lol..
my favorite post WLS dense protein thing thing of all time ---veggie burger patties--give me gas like i'm ...welll i don't even know who'd have gas like that. so i king of try not to eat them if i know i'll have company
but men, they are such a great "filler" food. only 100cals a pop, something like 20g of protein. take a minute to prepare (just nuke in a microwave), tastes good and, miracle of miracle, you are actually full after one or two--like you feel your pouch...and, as you knoe, i never do.
Wow, size 0!!! How excitiing! When I got into my fours I wore the pair of them to work with the sticky tag still on the leg. It was an hour before anybody noticed which was funny.
I have a clothing question...where in the world can a person find smaller size underwear that aren't thongs or bikini's??? I just want some nice cotton briefs or the kind that is a bit shorter but everything only goes down to a size 5 and they are baggy. Where in the world do people who are way smaller get their undies? I've even shopped around on the internet and all I can find are racy panties. Those might be fine for, er, certain times but for everyday what's a gal to do?

you are amazing, i still fit perfectly into 5s (with hanes cotton briefs,etc.for everyday wear) i guess the next step is for you to move into juniors and get one of the larger sixes they have. let me know how it goes cause i'll need some soon too.
BTW and OT could you imagine a year ago we'd be having THIS conversation??? from plus sizes to junior depts....talking about coming a full circle
