Your support is priceless
Thanks all!
My 1 year post op appointment last Thursday went well.....down from 292 on 12/21/07 to 159 on 12/9/07!
Thanks again, I have no idea why I was so worried about the clinic visit....they showed me my progression photos (still don't believe my eyes), gushed all over me, asked how I had done so well post op, and it was more like a reunion than anything, even though they all saw me at 6 months out! Nothing but support!
3 people in the office have gotten married since I last saw them, so I asked them all to rub off on me a bit My boyfriend and I brought up the subject for the first time this weekend, which was pretty wild. We are taking baby steps, which feels right to me...
And, they said at 160 (which I was last Thursday), I was right on, doing great, and on track.
We are doing great December grads!
Congrats to us all, and HAPPY SURGIVERSARY!!!! What a difference a year makes...

Melissa:
How sweet you are, thank you. I'm enjoying post op life thoroughly, and it helps to have a supportive partner who doesn't necessarily "get it", but is MORE than willing to ask questions and learn! Plus, he is a great, great cook, and has been very accomodating with what he prepares.
Best,
Megan
