I am watching Oprah's transfer addiction show right now.. good stuff on there that is very much real.
Anyway.. I am gonna run here in a bit.. still in PJ's as I worked last night. Need to get my butt around. Husband is officiating basketball games all night, so taking advantage of that and getting all his Christmas presents wrapped.
Here is what I am eating today.. started out grazing but now doing ok once I woke up. Got to bed late today.
B: Left over boneless pork chops 3 oz (i know weird) and 1 egg
S: mini bag of popcorn (SF kettle) sprinkled with cinnamon (molly gave me this idea.. YUM), then a bit later 2 sugar free puddings (I know.. a bit of a graze - I had worked last night).
L: 1 cup romaine lettuce with 1 tbs of light ranch dressing.
(Finally went to be around noon, up at 430pm)
D: 2 pumpkin protein muffins with light "whip" and 2 tbsp of FF/SF 'frosting' (cream cheese, splenda and maple extract)
S: ???
S: EAS Shake
Cals: 822, carbs 63, fats 33, protein 82 (without the other snack)
Hi! I got to see the last five minutes of that show when I got home today, can't wait to catch the repeat of it on cable tonight. Pretty heavy on carbs today but not out of control. I woke up in the night with terrible stomach pain and even the Carafate didn't shut it off so I had a half-cup of nsa ice cream to settle it. Worked beautifully until the pouch emptied out again and then it woke me up again so I repeated it. That got the day off to a bad carb start but ut really didn't feel like a huge graze. (Every time I have a migraine and take my herbal meds plus some Tylenol I end up with awful stomach pain. Luckily this doesn't happen very often!)
Six hour shift today and then full-on Christmas shopping. Yikes, am I tired! Eats were pretty much on-the-go after work but not bad.
1) 2 half-cup servings nsa ice cream in the night
--sf, decaf chai (x2)
2) 1 lf mozz stick, 1 pumpkin protein muffin
3) 100 cal Curves Bar
4) half cup Fage 0% yogurt, 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean, 1 pouch dehydrated fruit
5) half cup egg beaters, 1 slice black rye toast
6) homemade pumpkin protein bar
7) 1 cup really soft, overcooked green beans, 2 oz. really overcooked tender pot roast
8) 1/2 cup nsa ice cream
Ok, this is eating two times too many but not bad considering. I actually don't have any guilt over this. The carbs are really, really high but it got started with the ice cream and then the black rye 'bread' and homemade protein bar are what bumped up the carbs too.

Ok, that Oprah is on right now as I type and I recongize it as a rerun. Think I'll have a cup of tea and get to bed early. Hope to be up early and wrapping presents tomorrow.

Hmmm... didn't eat much, cause still sick, and slept most of the day.
L: 1/4 or about 12 bites of the inside of Chile Verde burrito.
D: 2 small carb control quesadillas with colby cheese & salsa
S: I WAS BAD! But damnit, my throat hurt. 1/2 c of No Sugar Added French Vanilla ice cream with 1/2 a shot of carmel creme liqueur. Made myself a mini-shake.
But when I weighed in this AM, I'm down to 153. So, I'll take it. First time the scales started going DOWN in about 3 weeks.
Heather, that isn't bad at all. Imagine how you'd have treated your poor sore throat before surgery? If it had been me, my throat would have been given about 10 or 12 fudgesicles (full sugar!) and probably some orange sherbert for that good vitamin c factor. And for those all-important fluids when one is sick I'd have been guzzling regular 7-Up most of the day too.

I BAKED ALL day This is a GOOD thing and and a BAD thing. I got my moms recipe for Brown bread and I made (with my 10 year old sons help) 9 Big loaves and 15 small loaves, we made 10 small loaves Starbucks Gingerbread AND cookie dough to bake CC, Oatmeal CC, Sugar, Peanut Butter and PB Choc. Chip COOKIES. I had said this year I WAS NOT making cookies and the MOM guilt happen so I bought a 25 pd bag of flour, 10 pds of sugar and ALL the other stuff and we are making cookies. I am baking them ALL tomorrow so that will be the true test. I am planning on chewing GUM all day and enjoying my kids and our tradition and NOT the cookies. Wish me LUCK.
