What did ya eat and how did ya move today? - Wednesday
I am being very accountable today and posting WAY early.. hope you don't mind. I have my day planned out. I am gonna run two miles also.
B: 2 servings of egg beaters and 2 oz of lean ham steak.
L: 1 cup romaine, some chopped red onion, 3 oz chicken breast, 1 oz low fat monteray jack cheese, 2 tbsp of salsa, 1 tbs of light sour cream.
S: 16 oz SF Chai Tea Latte with skim milk
D: 1 small wendy's chili with side salad using low fat ranch dressing.
S: EAS Shake
Cals 925, fat 29, carbs 62, 9 fiber, protein 100.
LOVE those numbers.. I am gonna stick to it today! Got lots of running around to do today so I allowed the latte/wendy's in there as planned foods.
How did you do today?
Very good preplanning, Mel! Looking at your lunch made me hungry. Today I gave myself a headache going all liquid till after my appt. That was a little extreme! Stellar weigh in...*with* clothes I might add. 131 ! Dr. said that I lost 98.75 % of my excess body weight and he was very pleased. I heard a new number today...they said I weighed 229 on surgery day and here all this time I thought it was 230. Bummer. Well, I'll just stick with what I remember and it is only 1 pound off. My liquids came out to a lot of calories and I feel really munchy and light headed now that the headache is beginning to wear off. Going to have to be very careful tomorrow!
1) nf, sf soy latte
--two 16 oz. bottles of diet green tea plus a bottle of propel water
2) Isopure Alpine Punch mixed with a Sobe Lean Grapefruit
3) Protein DeLite Banana liquid supplement (icky)
4) brown sugar cinnamon homemade protein bar
5) South Beach 100 cal bar (at the mall)
6) 1 oz. soy crisps
7)...there will have to be something but I don't know what
Very good appointment. My labs are all excellent with the minor exception of my Vit. D which was a little low. An otc supplement will take care of that and then recheck it in 3 months. He was very pleased with the sparkpeople printouts I brought and even though my really, really horrible day on the 29th shocked him he said that overall I'm doing just what I should be. He seemed surprised that I didn't have any excess skin complaints...I guess most everybody does at goal but my problem is just the missing boobage.
After that great appointment I decided to treat myself at the mall and try on some of those jeans you spoke so highly of. They fit in a size FOUR and were still on sale so now I have a pair of my own. I may never take the tag off!!! And then while at the mall I ran into an old friend who hadn't seen me in years and totally didn't recognize me. She had to ask who I was after I'd greeted her warmly and given her a hug. She was very gracious...can you imagine how shocking it'd be to have someone you think is a complete stranger come up and hug you??? We sat and visited for 2 hours, it was wonderful catching up with her.
I WAS going to come home from the doctor and get on my stair stepper (honest!) and then wrap gifts but my head is just too weird now. Maybe a little more tea and thinking about what to eat and then get ready for work and hit the hay. It has been SOME day!!!
Molly
Big hugs and thanks for the tip on the jeans, I love them!!!
YEAH MOLLY!!!!
So you have to tell me about the jeans.. you got the Levi's 515's? If so, I love those also.. we are the same size chickey!!! WOOHOOO!! How cool that you ran into a friend that didn't recognize you! I love it!
And ok, got to ask.. you said you lost 98% of your excess weight.. what do they say is your ideal body weight then? 128ish? My gosh that is a low number for a surgeon to say. They go by whats a "normal BMI" at my office.. so at 150 I was at 100% of excess lost.. yours must do theirs different.. regardless you have done TERRIFIC! Sounds like a great appointment and weigh in.... good for you!
What did they say when you mentioned the "pms munchies"? or did you?
*hugs* and congrats! Wonderful update Molly!
I showed him my last week's sparkpeople printouts and explained that the last couple of days were abnormally low for me but that my average range was around 12-1300 and he said that is about right and that I should just keep doing what I'm doing. He never mentioned an ideal weight. He had said at a previous apointment that for my age and height I really should weigh 145. Uh, too high!!!
After mentioning the pms munchies and the stress eating I told him about my stress issues at home and on the job and that I want to begin counselling in January if he'd recommend someone. He said, "I commend you on being cognizant of eating issues." And to just give the office a call and they'd supply me with the names of people he recommends.
I wore the jeans to work today with the front leg tag still on and it was a full hour before anybody noticed! Guess I got the wrong kind, these are Levi 512 slim boot cut, stretch. Oh well, they are still a 4M so I'll wear them till they're threadbare.
By the time I got home from the mall I had a horrible headache and ended up going to bed really, really early. Woke up fine this morning and then around 7:30 got a migraine very suddenly....absolutely unusual for me. I think it is now time to see my PCM about the changes in my headaches. Went home from work early today so that I'd still be able to and had to drive with one eye closed, it was miserable. Has to be the hormones...I just wi****'d be that time of the month already so I could get all this over with!
Molly
Those jeans sound wonderful Molly! I bet you look great in them.. picture picture, we must see your tush in them! I am sorry you had a headache.. i hear you on the monthly thing.. skipping last month's it appears but still got the munchies last month. what the heck.. how is that fair? lol.. hope you are resting now.
