Tuesday weigh in and HAPPY SURGIVERSARY TO ME, MELISSA AND MOLLY
Hi Melissa,
I am just getting around to posting today. It has been hectic for me too with the holidays and school, work, house, husband and son. But I thought of you all yesteday and always thinking of you for the month of December.
We could never think any less of you. You had a bad day, you realized it and moved past it, its a new day and you know what you need to do to turn it around.
I totally understand about the pity party, I have one every now and then. I have to really watch my boredom. I tend to graze all day on Saturdays when I am at work. I plan to start in the new year going outside on my lunch break and walking around. I just do this mindless eating and I dont know why. I am fine all of the other times but those saturdays are troublesome.
Happy surgiversary to you, I posted above about my weight gain last week--I had gotten down to 136 but last week, got as high as 141 and it freaked me out!! I had a lot of water retention going on and was just eating junk so I had to pull myself up and get back on the stick. Weighing and tracking my weight daily has really helped me because I wouldnt have known about the rise in the weight had it not been for my morning weigh-in ritual.
I will talk to you soon, I have homework to do but wanted to stop in here and say Hi to everyone and post about my week.
Angela
Thanks Angela for all the support. I have been doing great since that day.. it was just a bad day and I do realize I will have those but hope to get better and better with handling them as time goes on. Therapy will help me a lot with working through these issues I think.
Tha****er retention can really freak you out can't it? It does me too. I agree to daily weighing to keep track of things and really stay on top of it. I know others say never do this but it will always be daily for me. I think everyone has to find their comfort in this.. what works best and how they can handle it emotionally.
Again thank for the support, it means so much to me and for also being so understanding. I felt I should post about it.. be really "transparent" and not hide my actions, that only makes it worse.

Hi, Isabel! Congratulations on losing 114 lbs!!!! Have a happy day tomorrow on your one year anniversary. You are very blessed to have so many positive changes happen in your life since WLS. I am very happy for you that family and people around you have been so supportive along your journey. I have the same feelings for my Dr! You are part of our family, even with the difference in language. Thank you for feeling that we have helped you through hard times. No one should have to face a worse moment alone and there are so few people *****ally understand what WE are going through at one year post-op! Viva La Hermanita!

Hi Melissa! Happy Surgiversary!!!! What a wonderful year this has been. Have you been floating on a cloud all day like I have? I hope so!
I was almost late leaving for work today because I was bound and determined to take a picture of my scale reading this morning and couldn't get the thing to cooperate. First few weights came out 130.2, .4, .2....back and forth. So I go get the camera in my excitement and then the next 30 or so weights were all over 130.6 and up to 131.4. So...I managed to get it to the 130.6 and took that as my ahem, 'official' weight for today. That makes me six-tenths of a pound off where my own personal goal was but hey....I'll TAKE IT!!!!
Drumroll please..... One year stats!

CW: 130.6 I'm gonna just go ahead and call that my 100# since surgery and 125 since working with Dr. Rawlins.
I've been pushing the fluids like crazy and it is paying off baby! One more day of it and I hope to have a nice weigh-in at my one-yr. post-op appt. tomorrow. Tonight I have to weigh all my clothes to find the lightest outfit because I don't really want to strip down for the office staff there. LOL

Molly...Congrates on 100#!!!! You did it, Girl! I'd say, "Go Dance In The Streets!", but with the WA cold you'd either get sick or arrested... As for the Dr appointment, just wear a trenchcoat commando! You won't have to change...just drop it and get the REAL weight. (Disclaimer: You are an adult...so if you actually do this and get arrested...don't try to blame me! HeHeHe) XOXOXO Ro
