What did ya eat and how did ya move...Monday
Hi folks! Hope everybody had a nice day today. I was thrilled that it rained and rained today instead of snowing. Woot woot! It was a surprisingly nice day at work today, what a blessing.
Moves today: 8 hours on my feet running around lifting boxes, in and out of the warehouse and up and down stairs and ladders as usual. I can sure tell that it is a whole lot easier on my body than it was a year ago. These days I am not nearly so tired at the end of the day as I used to be. I used to worry about falling asleep at the wheel on the way home.
Trying to amp up the liquids today and tomorrow in anticipation of my weigh-in on Wednesday at the surgeon's office. Had a gain over the weekend so it may not be pretty. Here's so far:
--lots of tea again
nf, sf soy latte
1) Alpine Punch Isopure
2) 1/2 cup 0% fage yogurt, 1/2 cup kashi go lean
3) 3 oz. chicken from the crockpot orange chicken, 1/2 cup sauteed veggies
4) 1 millet protein cake (another one of my homemade protein bar concoctions)
calories: 707, carbs: 52, fats: 7, protein: 114
I don't know what I'm going to be eating the next 5 hours...am a little worried since Monday between 3 and 8 is the WORST time of the week. But I'm motivated to keep it as liquid as possible today and will try to do my best. If I weren't so cold I'd make myself a big frosty protein shake but that sounds revolting.
Did you have a good day eating and moving?

Amy, I'm impressed with your honesty. I never, ever report my little teensy calorie foods like your sucker or gum. That is a little head game I've played with myself this entire past year and for me, keeps me from feeling deprived. I keep it under 100 calories but have those daily indulgences (like my sf Dove chocolates or a sf hard candy) pretty regularly. Bravo to you for including ALL your choices!
Molly
I have been really bad lately, so I am trying to be more accountable. I went to the gym did the bike, tedmil and couple arm machines as well as the tanning bed (whoohoo!!) so I am feeling pretty good. But I was starving when I got home so I did eat 3 pcs of lunch meat, a pickle and a handful of goldfish. Still under 1000 calories for the day so I am ok with it.
I forgot something....the very first thing I had today was 8 oz. of Mice Milk 'eggnog'. It is really a nice seasonal treat. Just Mice Milk (Micellar Milk), nutmeg and sf Butter Rum syrup.
So the last thing I 'ate' today was a nice, warm Nectar latte cappuccino with some sf brown-sugar cinnamon syrup and sf eggnog syrup. Sweet and yummy!!!
Gotta go !
Molly
