5 day pouch re-set test
i think i'm going to try it starting today. i read about it on the "graduates" board and it really doesn't sound too bad at all. i feel that having eaten all those carbs and sugar and slider foods and alcohol (with and without meals) everything else on my vacation, i need to get the restriction/the tool working for me again.

so, as of this morning, i'm 127.5--let's see what the five days do.
btw., has anyone tried it and what do you think?
I did try it a long time ago and it was too hard for me honestly.. I wanted to "chew" something so bad.. I caved the first night into it sigh.. I am sure you will do fine with it though, I wasn't "ready" and was premenstrual (thus the lack of restriction) and was freaking out.. well premenstrual my cravings are sky high so no way i could get through it.. any other week I probably woulda been fine. let me know how it goes. Most I see getting around 500-700 calories during the first 2 days of liquids.. including protein drinks..yeah hard!
Natalie, sounds like a good plan for detoxing from vacation. I'm with you in spirit but not in practice. I'm trying to de-white/de-sweet myself because too many white foods have crept back into my diet and they just make me crave more. I've already warned my son that his beloved strawberry cereal (lightly sweetened rice flakes and unsweetened dehydrated strawberry bits) is no longer coming to our house once the current box is gone. It is becoming like candy to me and isn't welcome anymore. I think you are right on track about getting the tool working again.
Also loved the comments about the protein drinks. If I tried the pouch test I'm sure I'd have a protein drink in my hand most of the day and the calories sure rack up fast that way. Good luck and keep us posted!
