Hello All! Today is my husband and I's 4 year wedding anniversary! We have been so busy lately, it felt good to stay home for a change. I have been cleaning and did my running, otherwise just dinking around. We are going to celebrate our anniversary next week. I have to go out of town to see my doctor for my 1 year follow up and also get my BMR tested so we are just gonna make a 2 day trip out of the deal and also get some christmas shopping done, can't wait! Happy anniversary!!!! 4 years, WOW
B-giant coffee with a gererous helping of half and half (to fight jet leg) -100cal
L-2 pieces of gefilto fish-100cal
D-beef stew-260cal
S-half of a giant apple
Other: vitamins, sugar free candy 350cal
total: 810cals
exercise: 3mile walk
today is my first day back from Greece and I went to bed very early because of jet leg, so i did very well on my calories (considering that i was easily eating 2000-2500 a day while on vacation because i couldn't resist trying all the local food)
stepped on a scale this morning--128.5 no major damage done. my lowest the day before vacation was 125.0 and i always fluctuate by about 5lbs. in a couple of days i'll be able to tell whether the weight was real or just my usual water gain.
in any case, back to my usual routine of working towards my goal weight of 115
Sorry I missed this, hope you had a nice day and enjoy your flowers. I'm sure you will have a memorable trip next week to celebrate your anniv.
Stress is still kicking my butt and I didn't handle it very well yesterday, ended up dumping and going to bed early. Going to try to accomplish a lot of things today and feel good (and eat better!). Here's the damages yesterday:
--nf, sf soy latte
1) pumpkin protein bar
2) 2 serv. egg beaters, 1 morningstar farms sausage patty
3) potluck at work...no measuring: abt. 2 oz. turkey, abt. 1/4 cup gravy, 2 very thin slices ham, abt. 2 oz. cheese, 1/2 devilled egg, 1/2 cup green salad w/spritzer dressing
4) 1 serving diet pumpkin cheesecake
5) 2 cups dry cheerio's (grazed but measured)
6) 1 lf mozz stick, 1 cup mashed potatoes *Holy Mother Dumping* from this--totally stress eating and the first time I've eaten anything more than that 1 tsp. potatoes at Thanksgiving. This will be the LAST time too. Ick....
calories: 1721, carbs: 126, fats: 75, protein: 138
Really bad numbers but it was very willful stress eating at home. Lately work has bee really stressful but I'd rather be there than home, it is worse there. Hope it lets up soon.
Molly
Thanks Molly, I can't wait for next week to relax with hubby a little bit. Of course I have a MAJOR test I am taking the day after we get back! ACLS recertification for work (Acute Cardiac Life Support) ya know like where they shock your heart back into rhythm? Most health care workers have Basic for CPR but not the advanced unless they work in cardiac care, critical care or a unit that involves heart monitoring via a telemetry machine. Even though I don't work in an area that requires it, I like to keep it. Because its only a 4 hour (intense) class to recertify but 2 day (even more intense) class to let it lapse and take it again. Soooo every 2 years I get really nervous. Oh well at least if for some reason I didn't pass (i never have the confidence do i?) I don't *HAVE* to have it for the job I am presently in... just so much studying to do between now and then.
Sorry to hear you are so stressed with work still.. I know for me I am ready to have the holidays here and gone.. I love it but it creates so much stress for Aaron and I b/c of the traveling and busy schedules.. hes refs basketball every night of the week for extra money and exercise and I am busy tending to all the other things like baking, cooking, gift buying, wrapping, etc.. lots of planning. I can't imagine putting a M-F job in the middle of it, eating right and getting all the extras done PLUS working in retail on top of it all, I can only slightly fathum what you are going through right now, bless your heart, you are doing quite well considering Molly. Today is a new day.
Hang in there.. love ya!

i did not go to Jazzercise last night but i did do 2.25 miles on the treadmill.......Dallas Cowboys played the Greenbay Packers last night -- Both teams were 10-1 so it was a really BIG deal in TEXAS--Almost as big as the SUPERBOWL - BUT the main Cable company did not air the game so we had to go to my parents to watch the game (they have satellite dish)...you should have seen the cars at the sports bars and restaurants --people around here are nutz.....you would have thought it was the superbowl! (cowboys won!- but i say it is only cuz Brett Favre was hurt)
Wow sounds like fun Dawn!!! A lot of action! I am from a very small town of 2000 people.. (used to be from Kansas City as you know.. so big chiefs fan when I lived there) and now.. there isn't much going on sports wise other than the highschool athletics lol.. glad you had a good time even if the cowboys won!
