What did ya eat and how did ya move today? - Tuesday (late)
Just popping in for a second, wanted to post my eats. I didn't move other than in a car for 6 hours to KC.. had fun tonight. Gotta work on some gifts I am making to give to the family on Thursday then off to bed. I am proud of myself today, numbers high in all categories but this what happens when your cals go over 1000 and I go anywhere from 1000-1200. My family is amazed at how I look and they are literally telling me seriously this time consider stop losing.. you know the saga, it keeps continuing. I am at my goal and 4 more pounds to docs.. so I am basically there and getting my BMR tested dec 12 before I go to doc for my 1 year appt so I can see for sure the cals I can safely consume and will talk to the doc about it so I can understand maintaining mode even better. Hope you all had a good eating day!
B: 1 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal with 1/3 cup fresh blueberries and 2 oz (splash) of soy milk.
S: Medium SF Chai Tea Latte (made with skim milk about 1.5 cups of milk).
L: Asian Chicken Salad from McDonalds on the way to KC (actually pretty good) with grille chicken. I took out the orange pieces (hate fruit in my salad) and just used a very little bit of the sesame dressing.. picked out most of the good stuff - meat, edamame, almond slivers, roasted red pepper.. about 300ish cals, 31 proteins.
S: 1/2 pumpkin pie with whip/frosting (mom and I split it so she could try it and LOVED them!)
D: Went to a really nice Italian restaraunt (UGH!) but I found a salmon dish that came with this lemon/butter/taragon sauce. I had them hold the sauce and just bring out the salmon. I got a salad and used my own FF italian dressing I brought with me and substituted the green beans for the potatoes.. they did use some olive oil on those but HEY I DID GOOD!!!!! I stayed away from the bread basket (Never touch this anyway). I was so happy!
S: EAS Shake.. no I didn't "NEED" this as my protein was fine but it was my treat for being so good today!
Cals: 1120, fat 39, carbs 83 but 20 was fiber!, protein 118 (high!)
How did you do? See ya later when I can!
EATS? EATS? let me see.
B: protein bar
L: cheese cubes & pecans
D: 3.5 oz fajita meat
shredded cheese on top of some lettuce with pico de gallo & ranch dressing(lf)
S: Bunch of frozen grapes
S: handful of Kashi
no idea what the count is ......since i have been working out for an hour a day 4X at least ...i am trying to listen to my body as far as eating is concerned. Yesterday (Tuesday) i ate bfast at 7:30 am and did not have "lunch" until 4pm--which worked out ok since jazzercise is at 6:30 then i had my dinner and snacks after class. It is time for aunt flo and so i am trying to be conscious of the contents of what i am eating to - not only the carb laden foods. Gonna plug these # in to prevention.com calorie counter see how i fared.
So- my aerobics instructor has a class tomorrow (THANKSGIVING) at 7:30 am. I am seriously thinking about going....we are not going to my moms until 11:00ish ....BUT it is supposed to be cold so i dont know if i am THAT committed. We are going to the Beach House after lunch so maybe a walk on the beach in the sand will be an ok replacement.............
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL- GOOD LUCK and choose wisely. ask yourself "is it worth it"--at least that is what i will be doing.
hugs

Mini Me
Hi! Glad you made it safe and sound and had such a good day. Hope you have a fun Turkey Day tomorrow. From yours and the other posts I can see that I am the pig of the group this week. (oink, oink!) You honor, I plead stress, lack of sleep (and willpower!) and being in the kitchen too much. Here it is:
--nf, sf soy latte
1) 1/2 cup fage yogurt, 1/4 cup granola (old stuff, I quit buying this honestly!)
2) 4 oz. bbq'd chicken w/2 T KC Masterpiece 'diet' sauce, 1/2 cup spinach souffle casserole
3) 1 whole-wheat oat pumpkin muffin
4) grazing at home while cooking: 1/2 cup nsa ice cream, 1 oz. soy crisps, 1 mini bag popcorn, sf instant mocha mix
5) later on I plan to eat one serving of PK's meat crust pizza if I get hungry
calories: 1337, carbs: 111, fats: 34, protein: 122
Not sure if all these numbers are accurate, the chicken was leg meat and Sparkpeople lists it as a lot higher calories than white meat (I know it is but this seems like really a lot!)
Planned eats for tomorrow: egg beaters for breakfast, another soy latte for stamina, turkey, gravy, brussels sprouts and three slivers of sugar free pies. There will probably be some grazing of spiced nuts and some Teriyaki cheese log with asian rice crackers. (recipe from Susan Maria's book) Oh, and I'm going to have a small glass of non-alcohol wine....wish me luck. Hope it doesn't make me dump, the sugar content on it looks a little high. I really miss having a nice glass of wine with a special meal so this will be a rule-breaking treat.
Moves today was an 8-hr. shift and running at top speed...big stress. It will be a zoo on Friday but luckily it will only be a 6-hr. day. Then I plan to come home and hang Christmas lights if the weather holds...we'll see!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!!
Molly
I can honestly say I have no idea what I ate today. I have been COOKING and baking since 11:30. I know I had a protein bar and for dinner we had WHITE CASTLES which I use to like and tonight I thought they were pretty gross. I think when you pick off the bun and actually look at them they lose something.
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving. We are having 2 friends and their families over and my sister is bring my dad down and we are going to my sisters on Sat. since her girls are with there dad tomorrow.
I know we will have my mom on our minds all day. This is the first big holiday with out her and it will be hard.
