Update on Our Mommie

Hi! Wanted to update you before I head to bed, just talked to Shawn (who luckily was still awake...it was nearly 11 her time! Yikes!!!) and she sounded wonderful. She said it was ok to let you know she's doing ok and hasn't begun the shock therapy treatments and may not have them. It sounds like being in the hospital is a very good thing for her and she is making really healthy progress. I'm so proud of her for taking such good care of herself! She may come home after Thanksgiving, I guess we just have to wait and see. I have her home address if anybody would like to send her a card of encouragement. She did weigh in with us in spirit on Tuesday and gained a pound but feels good about it. The food there the first day wasn't right for her but once she got some help from the dietician they began feeding her correctly. So, keep her in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully she'll be back online with us before too long. Molly

HOLY CRAP!!! Who is that first lady in your avatar Melissa?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??????????? Thanks for following up on Shawn. I was going to call tonight. I wanted to give her some time to settle in and her husband time to get things straight before I called to bug anyone. I will be sending out a card to her tomorrow. This is great news!!!!

Lol.. I keep hearing she looks like what a "mother" would look like.. I have to say she doesn't look my momma.. mine is much more attractive then that picture (I *HATE* that picture btw.. as if u couldn't tell!) It brings back so many painful emotions to see it yet.. I love seeing how far I come with that flippy avatar.. thanks girlie!!

Wow ! Melissa! Is that you??? You have done great! You look so much younger now, and I love your big smile . I am so glad that Shawn is doing good, our prayers are with her and her loved ones. Leatha
