Well, I had no good excuse for not exercising today and still didn't do it. Chew me out, please. I'm under so much stress right now and my brain knows that exercise would do me good but it just doesn't happen. And to make matters worse my carbs are out of control and here it is evening and I'm actually hungry-hungry right now. It is going to be hard to make a good, non-carb choice to fill my tummy. I think maybe a salad or an EAS. Anyway, here it is: 1) 1 serving pumpkin oatmeal --nf, sf soy latte 2) 1/2 cup chicken/broccoli concoction, 1 serv. egg beaters 3) 1/3 cup craisins, 1 kashi granola bar 4) 2 sf fudgesicles 5) 1 serv. zucchini lasagne, 1 cup romaine and tomato salad w/2 T ff ranch dressing calories: 903, carbs: 132, fats: 19, protein: 60 I just seem to have trouble with my food plan if I start the day out with a high carb meal, oatmeal is yummy but troublesome. Anybody else have that problem? Molly

Oh yeah, I have the same problem with carbs in the morning. I love to have oatmeal with milk and on top off that I love to add walnuts and raisins to it. One of these days I am going to figure the numbers on that little one which I am sure will make me want to flip. I did not exercise today either, just did not find the time to do it. Today I had: b-1 egg with ham and 2 sl wasa cracker, some grapes s-protein bar and about 5 munchkins----bad girl, not worth it L-ham, cheese and crackers s-wheat thins d-the insides of a pork sandwich with balsamic tomatoes s-I am going to make myself a sf, nf latte right before debtime I do not know my numbers, but I can tell you that I know I did better today. Today I am very undecided on calling my current weight my goal weight. I am happy with being 190 but sometimes think that 180 is better. huummmmmmm.......I do not know what to do but I guess I do not wish to loose much more. If I only could get a TT and breastlift......

Sorry you have trouble with the carbs in the morning too but thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. I also notice that if I eat first instead of having a hot drink then it starts me off being hungry the whole day. Tonight I had that EAS cafe caramel that I thought would be a good idea and sure enough, it turned off the hunger and satisfied me! At least one great choice today. Now I just need to turn off the computer and get to bed but I hate to give up my days off, even the evenings when I'm so tired. Time alone in a quiet, dim house is so restorative. Molly

Great job molly, this is why I love those shakes, they aren't big yet so satisfying for me.. really help me at night with the munchies so I drink them last thing and also on the way to work.. holds me for hours.. and its fluid, I don't know that I will ever go witout one each day.. I do what works for me and those definently do the trick! *hug*

The protein-at-night thing seems to be a basic that I have completely forgotten. For some odd reason, I associate having a protein drink with an energy spike and usually reserve them for mornings. But darned if it really doesn't work on hunger and I sure don't feel all energized. Am really, really tired from all this stress but since DH has gone to bed and my son is on the downstairs computer the house is so sweet and peaceful so I don't want to give it up just yet. I even had the choice of a freshly-baked batch of PK's pumpkin muffins and chose the EAS instead. How's that for willpower!? I tried to take some pretty pictures of them for my profile and maybe for her recipe page on Sparkpeople so the plate was so tempting looking. I even added a dollop of your maple-flavoured whipped ff cream cheese topping and a sprinkle of nutmeg. All safe and snug under a piece of clear wrap in the fridge waiting for tomorrow. Hugs! M

Late rising day. Hubby didn't get home till 3:30am, so woke me up when he came in, and then I just don't have the willpower to drag out of bed, when I can snuggle with him in the mornings. Finally, drug up about 11:30am. Lunch - (call it what it is) - 3/4 c cottage cheese w/ spoonful of SF apricot preserves mixed in Dinner - FAJITAS! (was friend's birthday, so all of us girls went out to our favorite Mexican restaurant.. hubby is getting the leftovers when he comes home for his "breakfast") Snack - protein shake Yes, yes.. short on protein and calories again tonight. Gonna try for a good week, starting on Monday.

Wow, I got hungry just reading how little you ate. Makes me look like an absolute hog in comparison! Hope you do have a good week ahead. Molly

I ate a good chunk on the fajitas, but I still don't get hungry, so it's a constant have to think about it, to remember to eat. I'm up late again today, but I did eat before we went to bed at 4am, so at least I have some protein and carbs in (chicken veggie soup) for the day. Gonna drop hubby at the restaurant and then I have to swing by and return a pair of shoes. Then coming home to make chicken enchiladas for DH and fish for me.
