Woman's Opinion

OK, so here's the situation... I'm 50 years old and have this new body.... I mean, this "new car" that I want to test drive, ok? My "old car" was big and slow and I didn't get very good "mileage" from it. The "new car" is sleek and sporty and I've gotten many compliments on it already. I want to pick a nice new "air freshener" that the ladies will like. But when I sample them and pick one, I naturally pick one that only a guy would like --- kind of "feminine" smelling, dontcha know. So I've come to the conclusion that I need a woman's opinion in order to pick out a nice "air freshener". Because only a woman would know what kind of an "air freshener" another woman likes to smell when she gets close to a guy's "new car". So, if any of you ladies out there have husbands that use a particular "air freshener" on their "new car" that makes them really want to "take a ride", please let me know... And if you really don't get it... PM me and I'll spell it out for ya...

Hiya Steve...there's no room at the inn, so I'm still home, waiting on a call from the doc SOMETIME this week. So...thought I'd chime in here. To be honest, I'm not big on additional "air fresheners". I like the crisp, clean smell of a freshly washed vehicle. HOWEVER, I do have 2 favorites that I do like in moderation, and they're the ONLY 2 air freshners I like and doesn't give me a headache or make me throw up. #1 all time favorite is "Acqui Di Gio" by Giorgio Armani and the #2 is "Very Sexy2 for him" from Victoria's Secret. It HAS to be 2 and not 1...1 makes me ill. They're both VERY manly scented in my opinion. Good luck in your search.

I'm sorry about the lack of room at the inn. Hang in there but don't torture yourself - if you need to, call your Doc and tell him that your friend Steve said to get off his A$$ and get you a place at the table!!! OK? Thanks for the input! Just want to make sure I get this right... When you say it HAS to be 2, do you mean for me to use both at the same time? I think I've sampled Acqua Di Gio and thought it was very nice. Didn't know about any of the VS scents; they all seem to be very fruity smelling. Is that good? I've heard that most women like a spicier scent over a fruity one.

NICE new avatar!!! And I WILL be letting you know you'll be there if I don't get in this week! (thank you!) NO NO NO on mixing them...LOL. When I say 2, I mean they have two versions, "Very Sexy#1" and "Very Sexy #2". I DO prefer spicier...and #2 is just that. Kind of "peppery" even. #1...I just don't like. I cannot STAND fruity on men, woodsy is gross to me (ie. POLO), musky makes me want to hurl...LOL. Yes, spicier is good!! And I'm sure you know...less is more! I hate smelling men's cologne (or women's for that matter) half way across the room.

Looking good Steve- nice avatar My husband doesn't wear anything, but I really wish he would. I am not finding the sweaty smell attractive at all!Doubt I would want to take a "ride" if he used a air freshners anyway Victoria Secret's does have great smelling air freshners for men and women. Now, if you are ever in the market to buy women's perfume Dream Angel Heavenly by VS is nice too. ~ Terisa

Excellent advice, thank you, T. If you are ever in a position to test the acqua di geo, please do so I can get a second opinion, ok? And if you happen to be "enticed" by the scent of any other man, please ask what he's wearing so you can pass the info back to me... You can lay the blame off on me - just tell them that you're gathering info for a friend who "stinks to high heaven"...

Hi there, the best "air freshener" is a nice clean smell. I just love it when my husband takes a shower and smells so nice and clean. I also love his "Polo" cologne.(It's a dark blue bottle) He has also used one called "azzaro" which I loved. Calvin Klein make some nice smelling ones. Go to the store and try them, take a lady friend for advice. Good luck on getting the right "air freshner" and test driving your new car..... Bea

It's older, but still can't help the hormones each time a guy walks by in Drakkar Noir. The crazy little buggers start begging to just "go around the block once!" Rascals. I love the hubby when he's freshly showered with nothing on but maybe his deodorant, and occasionally he will just tack on the body spray, from all things, Axe. Most of them are nice and crisp. I can't get him to wear a cologne per se. I think he knows he'd not be able to make it to the bedroom, let alone front, door before he'd be tackled and pulled down. With that said, I'm going to the mall tomorrow night. I'll swing through the men's colognes and take my sniffer for a test drive. I'm pretty picky about smells, always have been. I'll let you know. I do know, I detest Calvin Klein's "Red" is it for men? Ugh. And thanks to most of the teenage males from high school and college, Polo or any version of Polo other than the Polo Sport is out too. Swear they used to bathe in it. I hate musky too, btw. *Gags* Oh, my boss wears a nice clean, crisp one. Wonder if he'd freak out if I ask him what it is. Hehehe
