Friday Eats and Moves Post!
Hi Gang.. I do apologize for being MIA this week. It has been crazy hectic for me and today I feel like "mush" as I am just getting stuff caught up so I an go back to work for the weekend. Still in my pajamas if that tells you anything. It felt good to sleep in till 10am today though, no doubt about that! So today I am catching up on posts/emails and putting Halloween stuff away etc. The Halloween part was a blast, overcooked and only had 2 trick or treaters so had lots of stuff to send people home with as I didn't want it in my house! I did try nibbling on a couple things.. one gignersnap (preboxed) with some homeade pumpkin cream cheese dip I made and one Hershey's kiss. Do you know I spent 4-5 hours after that trying to stabalize my low blood sugar?!?! Just from that! It was awful.. got down to a blood sugar of 51-52. Ack! So my attempt to try to eat these foods always backfires on me.. a good thing though. Even if I eat too many good carbs I find that happening to me these days. I had a mini bag of popcorn and 1/2 apple a few weeks ago.. crashed down to 50 then also. So my body lets me know who is boss! That is for sure! Met with the therapist this week and I think shes awesome and will be good for me! Woot! Got the carpet downstairs laid, handrail installed and linoleum in the bathrooms now the painters come next Tuesday to paint part of the basement and dining room. Monday I have support group two hours away from here (where I had surgery) but its a topic I want to attend "getting back on track". Not that I am really "off track" persay but I think I will learn a lot. I will bring back any good info I take from that and share it here with you all. So I am busy through Tuesday but I am going back to the gym Tuesday no matter what. This week I never got any time in and I feel awful about it!
On with the eats.. sorry for rambling.
B: 1 egg, 2 oz lean ham steak
L: 1 cup romaine, 1 spicy black bean burger chopped up, 8 small black olives and some red onion chopped with 2 tbsp of salsa, 4 medium strawberries and 1/4 cup blueberries for dessert.

Last night was the Fall Festival that I headed up at my sons school and I was there from 12 noon to 10 o'clock last night. Sooo ALL I ate was a Turkey sandwich on thin wheat bread for breakfast/lunch and a bowl of chili and part of a hot dog for dinner (no bun). I marked and wrapped bake sale items for HOURS and all I "tried" was a couple bited of this apple tart thing that looked better then it tasted.
When I came home I had a protein cookie as my reward
Did not drink enough yesterday AT ALL. My feet are KILLING me and my butt is dragging as I have worked on this for months BUT it was a success and the kids and families had a GREAT time!!!
