Hang in there! Thinking of you, and wishing you the best outcome possible. This is a NONMEDICAL opinion, but I work in behavioral healthcare, and we see people's lives changed everyday by safe and effective ECT treatments....IF you do have the treatments, I wish you a quick and speedy turnaround! Kindest regards, Megan

Shawn, I'm so sorry that I didn't see your post yesterday. My heart goes out to you for all that you are having to deal with right now and have already dealt with in the past too. You and your family will be in my daily prayers the next few weeks as you focus on getting better with your treatment. You are dealing with this so bravely and I commend you for that...you must have a wonderful inner core of strength to draw upon during times like this. I'd love to be able to send you a card or letter while you are in the hospital, if that is allowed and if you'd like it. If you have time before you go, please PM me the information or someone here who can share it privately amongst your December family here. We'll all be thinking of you and hoping the time will pass quickly and successfully for you so that you can return home to your family in stronger health. Huge hugs for you!!!! Molly

I hope that this message reaches you before you leave, just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and wishing you strength and sending you lots and lots of love. I know that this time is not easy for you and I hope that you make the best of your time away, and that things get easier when you return. I am sure Erik will take care of your family while you are away and you just concentrate on you and the little one. I am thinking of you and call me anytime if you need a friend or a visit in the hospital - (248)320-5316 - I am not far away and would love to stop by to see you and bring magazines, books, hugs or whatever you need. All my love, Rebecca

Hi, Shawneena...Great Big Hug and Kisses at ya! Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into your decision and avoiding the meds, while carrying your sweet baby is a wise move. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Can't wait for you to return to us! Ro

I am hoping you will get online when you get back from treatment and read through this post - because I too want to send my support your way. I have a brother who is bi-polar and I have struggled through chronic depression symptoms most of my life. I was so afraid for you when I was reading your post - I know that doesn't sound supportive, but it impacted me greatly. I will be praying for you and your family. Wish I could come visit you... ((((((HUG)))))) Take Care, Be Strong, God Bless - Kerdeeya
