What did ya eat today and how did ya move?--Sunday
This being Sunday, we know Melissa is at work so I'll get this started. It is not a good day for me to report on since I had major munchies all day. Except for carbs, I managed to keep the numbers from being totally out of control. Lots of tea again today but it didn't help the appetite. boohoo
1) homemade bran muffin, 2 servings egg beaters
2) 1/2 cup nf cottage cheese mixed with 1/4 cup shredded im. crab
3) 3 slices turkey lunch meat, 1 lf mozz stick
4) 1 mini bag popcorn
5) 3 almond protein biscotti (sweet tooth rearing it's ugly head!)
6) 2 servings (seperate times of day but combined for calories) latest creation of banana pudding
calories 1109, carbs (gulp): 127, fats: 21, protein: 95
After reading the graduate board eats posts I realize I'm not doing so bad after all but I still would be happier if I could keep the carbs down at 100.
For exercise today I worked in the garden like a dog! I dug and dug and dug and got about half of it turned over and DID manage to get the garlic planted. Plus, I pulled up all the carrots and now have to get them blanched and frozen. The tulips will just have to wait longer. I deserve some bubbly!
What did you do for moves?
Although it was Sunday (or FOOTBALLDAY for us guys), I ate surprisingly few snacks. Had a scrambled egg for breakfast with a sprinkle of LF shredded cheddar cheese and 10 grapes. Lunch was two slices (deli thin) of smoked turkey and six LF wheat crackers. Baked 15 LF LS Oatmeal Cookies and sampled one right after lunch. Had a chocolate protein shake mid-afternoon and a REALLY NICE 3 oz piece of baked salmon and some steamed broccoli for supper. I don't know what the numbers are but it doesn't seem like much and I didn't have time to figure it out using fitday. The one thing that I'm sure of is that I wasn't hungry for anything else all day long, and I'm down another pound to 180.
Did get a chance to get out for a walk early in the day - got my 2 miles in even though it was a little chilly (52 degrees when I started 62 when I finished).
Hope everyone did as well as I felt I did...
