Hi Angela I am glad you are doing so well postop and already able to go back to work, that sure went fast, does it seem fast to you?? Your weight loss is great and I understand about the cushion weight, I am right there with you thinking 135 would be just fine and secretly even 130 would be ok, but I don't think my body will let me get that low and there for a while I was worried b/c I was loosing so fast now its really slowed down. So I don't have to panic about that anymore. I can't believe you are in a 4! I am in an 8, could maybe fit into a six in some things but still an 8, how tall are you? You gotta be tall! As for my cycles, doc wants me to try the patch, I am willing to try anything.

Hi! Thank you for the encouragement over the weekend on that gain I had after the big eating day. You were right, it was water weight. I'm still pms'ing though and wanting to eat eat eat! Going to try a new tactic this week till it ends...give in and eat but make sure it is protein and NOT carbs. So far today i am over 100 grams of protein already and it is only 3:30 here. yikes! Here's stats: HW: 268 SW: 230 LW: 134 CW: 134 QUESTION: Do many of you find you need less sleep since surgery? How are your energy levels overall? Answer: No change on the sleep issue. I usually sleep about 5 hours and then wake up...this is training from my odd hours for work, probably. This past spring and summer I had very low energy levels and was really concerned. Never did quite figure out what caused it...you all saw that I was eating A LOT so it wasn't lack of calories. It is better now and I'm not as fatigued all the time. Overall i'd say I do have more energy though. The Tailbone From Hell prevents me from sitting too much so I'm usually on my feet all day these days. I guess that means I really do have a lot more energy than I realize. There's no way I'd have been on my feet like that before my revision. BTW...that pumpkin cheesecake is now in the freezer. I had my legally acceptable pieces but just the act of eating something that tastes so sinful was not good for my brain. The last thing I want to do is retrain my mouth to think it needs to have food like that on a regular basis. That recipe will strictly be a holiday and special, special occasion food. Sorry the nuvaring isn't working out for you. My husband pulled the plug on baby making after I almost died from Sam's delivery so I don't have to do anything in that department myself.

Hi all Yea I feel alot better and can go on less sleep now where as before I could sleep 2-3 hrs. during the day then sleep 8-10 hrs. at night no problem. I have a lot more energy and especially if I go work out at the gym in the evenings then it takes me a while to wind down enough to go to sleep. HW: 340 SW: 330 LW: 211 CW: 211 Pray for me cause my hubby and I are taking a weekend trip and you know how traveling and eating goes. :{ Have a wonderful week Mini Me

Hi, Mel M M! Have a good time this weekend! You're right about how difficult it is to travel and still eat well. I pack a cooler bag of water bottles, a bag of soy chips, and protein bars for the ride. I am thinking about bringing along my bottle of Wish-bone Asian Silk salad spray, when I go out to eat because the restaurant dressings have either too much sugar or calories. You've been doing so well so keep up the good work! Prayers in progress and hugs... Ro
