I do think there is something to this. This is where I get weird though. I am a carbaphob, self proclaimed. My protein is already at its max with my 1000 calories or less and my fats are right where I want them.. so the only thing left to raise is carbs.. gonna be a tricky one for me! I gotta get over that though I think, I worry too many carbs will make me gain or stall my weight loss. How many do you think you eat a day, just out of curiosity? Then I will stop with the questions Thank you are awesome!
To be honest, I really haven't been counting the carbs, just the calories and protein grams. i'm a food addict in general and my huge issues pre-WLS were compulsive overeating and portion control (not to mention 13 years of bulimia--gross, i know) so i'm no more afraid of carbs than of any other foods.
i'm going to estimate that i eat 1200cal/day on average, 100of those protein, so that's 400cal; that leaves 800; of which probably around 400 is fat; 400carbs, so that makes 100g a day? i guess
