unprepared emotionally for attention

I have never been in the navy but pretty good at figuring things out and now i am going to use that Whishey Tango Foxtrot from now on! that is good. Sounds like you are doing quite well .....i have NEVER been given a phone number in the grocery line.....but you do look good so i am not surprised.......looks like you have a solid grip on how to deal with all of this ---I am married but for the attention that i am gettting i just stare at these people like they are crzy..WTF????

Erin: New and increased attention was a bit...unsettling for me too. I'm not used to it, and I know that my boyfriend likes me for way more than my wrinkled, sagging skin and oddly shaped tummy muffin top...so it's not my looks I hope you're able to eventually process it and enjoy it for what it is symbolic of---lots of change on your part! It amazes me how the world treats obesity in people...I am treated differently by men AND women now. Take care and Happy Monday! Megan

Thanks Megan, well I used to get stares and looks all the time when I was skinnier (195lbs) but that was like 8 yrs ago, but even more so now, I guess because I am thinner that what I was. I'll be ok just trying to sort out how I feel.... Thank you Megan and happy monday to you.....Erin

Hi Dawn, yes you are right never thought I would have issues with this but I am married almost 8 yrs so trying to keep on the straight road. My hubby notices the guys checkin me out too, so he knows. I have to tell you this you look so much like my sitter, she has gastric bypass too and has lost like 100 lbs, but she is like 5'1 and looks so similar to you...you guys are both too cute. Thank you Amy.....your right, I mean I am almost 5'8 and I wear 3 inch heels so I stand out in a crowd(love being able to wear heels again) But you know the feeling you are tall too!!!! Thank you again..Erin
