What did ya eat today and how did ya move - Friday?

Hi Gang! Happy Friday, it is the weekend! How did ya do today? Are Fridays harder for some people? Is this family night for you? My husband and I go out on Fridays usually since I work Sat and Sun nights. I try to save room for plenty of calories for this. This is my day so far. B: 2 Pumpkin Protein Pies with 1 tbs of cream cheese 'frosting' mixed with 1 tbs of light whipping cream. L: 1 LaTortilla (50cals) with light swiss laughing cow cheese, 2 oz deli turkey, romaine, red onion, a couple black olives white vinegar and greek seasoning all rolled up and 1/4 cup cottage cheese 1 %. S: 3 baby sugar free pickles, 1 cheesestick light mozzarella and 6 small bran crackers D: Going to a chinese restaraunt/buffet. The one we go to has steamed veggies and meats that aren't all covered in sauces, I stick with that plus I have some egg drop soup. Maybe a few grapes. S: 16 oz SF/FF latte from Starbucks My totals without dinner are as follows: Cals 618, fats 19, carbs 55, protein 72. Plenty of room to spare for that chinese place. I will low carb it there and just focus on protein mainly to get around my 95-100 grams. I ran on the treadmill today for 2 miles. Not much of anything else other than chores and getting ready for the weekend. So tell me how you did? See ya later!

B--1 fresh pear (90cal), a diet coke (i know, i know, but i let it go flat first) L--4 pieces of gefilto fish (200 cal), S-chewable vitamins, hard candy (100cal) L2- chicken and eggplant (300cal?) D--smoked salmon, fresh cabbage (300cal) total so far apr.1000cals, prob. close to 100gprotein exercise: 2 doggie walks, 5.9miles total

Melissa and everybody...here is a sad accounting of really out of control grazing yesterday. I did ok at work (always do) but when I got home and started in on my housecleaning I was just running, running, running and it felt like I ate everytime I passed through the kitchen. Was so exhausted that I was looking for calorie energy and then I had a bad ulcer attack and wanted to keep food on my tummy. And THEN, I overate on my strawberry cereal and dumped real bad. To the point where I thought I was going to pass out...just another great reminder of exactly WHY I needed this particular surgery. Even so-called 'safe' sugars are red-light foods for me. Anyway, enough....here's what I ate. Can't count the calories of the fudge protein balls because i haven't entered them into sparkpeople yet. They are around 40 calories each by the size I made, though. 1) 1 1/2 cup nf, soy latte 2) homemade chocolate/banana protein bar 3) 1/2 cup fage 0% yogurt, 1 serving dehydrated strawberries, 1/4 cup low sugar granola 4) 1/2 cup egg beaters, 1/4 cup im. crab flakes, 1 oz. 2% Kraft cheese here's the grazing: 2 almond protein biscotti 1 cup strawberry cereal (the dump maker) 1 EAS strawberry shake 5 Murray's sf shortbread cookies 1 Atkins choc. protein bar 1 Blue Bunny Froz Fruit bar 1/2 cup organic Life-type cereal, 1/2 cup skim milk 10 protein fudge balls calories 1431, carbs: 192, fats: 34, protein: 118 That's all without the protein fudge balls...another 400 calories right there. Woke up with a 3# gain today from all that food. The really sad thing? Those numbers put me right where Sparkpeople thinks I need to be in order to lose weight. WTH??? And compare this bad day to a pre-op 'bad' day and it looks like a great day dieting. LOL So..that was my very bad day and it will NOT be repeated! But you are all very important to me for accountability and I won't shirk that responsibility to myself.

Oh I tell ya some days are so easy some are so hard right Molly? PMS KILLS ME every time! Exactly why I am afraid to get pregnant postop.. Shawn is doing so good though! It's ok Molly this stuff happens. I think sometimes we have to have off days to keep our bodies guessing, I like to say that anyways. Don't worry you did not gain 3 #'s it takes 3500 calories in excess to gain or so they say, its water weight. I was up another 1 today after my day yesterday but I felt puffy, its water weight. I am up 2 lbs total this week but we are also pmsing.. just try to let it go, it will be back off in a week or two.. garsh the mental struggle with all of this! ha.. Hang in there, he is to a better day today!
